A large problem in modern times is the lack of equality in abortion rights. I'm okay with the mother having the choice to abort or not during the 9 months of pregnancy, but for the sake of equality the father should have the decision of whether to abort or not for the 9 months after pregnancy. Right now it's only men, who have to deal with the grief of their partner choosing to end the life of their mutual child, but equality dictates that we find a way to make women experience this kind of grief as well.

Laws should be gender-blind and provide equal rights and equal access to everyone, no matter what gender they were born with or later chose to adopt. Where this is not possible for biological reasons, laws should work towards equality by finding ways to create compensatory rights for the other gender. Giving men an equal right to abortion is one of the ways we can create a more equal society for everyone!
