I imagine there are many times traditionally "high value men" (good jobs, emotionally competent, caring, etc.) have moments of weakness just like any other human being. You hear stories of said men losing women due to those women suddenly losing attraction in these moments (ex: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=no7FuVwcn6w&t=0s. Now I know she is .01% of women and is more masculine in general but just as an example), even tho on average remain "high value" as it seems that the woman has momentarily gained an advantage in SMV. How do we solve this issue if we can? Is it time to have a more gender-neutral standard where both genders can "date up", is it mens' faults for not having better support networks, is it womens' faults for not being more understanding? The premise as a man is terrifying as essentially to me it seems one can never be down or else women immediately look for a stronger man even if on average they also have down moments.
