Long story short over the last year, my wife and I are getting a divorce. She initially filed under irreconcilable differences. Then tried a little bit of false accusations. When we did full disclosure prior to mediation I’d discovered a credit card she had told me was cancelled. The charges on there were for hotel rooms and Air BNB’s dating back to when we were still married and living together, and going on for months. A couple of months later I caught her snapchatting a guy. She said he was asking about buying our business equipment we were giving up on. I found it weird he would use snap chat to ask about that. And the look on her face when I asked who he was said it all. Especially with how she had been acting about her phone for months prior. I later caught her dropping off the same guy down the road prior to picking our kid up. She won’t admit it, and I don’t have 100% proof, but the signs are all there. Turns out during that time I caught them snapchatting his wife had filed for divorce on him, 6 days prior to the date I caught them talking. So I highly doubt they were actually talking about buying used equipment.

Then the last couple of days I was thinking. I thought back to a time we were dating. We were laying in my bed and she got a Snapchat. It was from her roommate from college. Her roommate was a guy a couple of years younger than us. She opened it up. It was a picture of his dick. She immediately closed it and told me that he had always had a thing for her but they’d never done anything. I believed her, gave her the benefit of the doubt, and we laughed about it later on. But thinking about it, what was the conversation they were having to where he thought it was ok to send that? I get some guys do that, but he allegedly had a girlfriend at the time. Whom he is now married to from what I understand.

Do you all think this was a massive red flag I dismissed? Even back then she had me convinced she was someone else entirely that ended up not being who she was. Am I an idiot? I just never thought she was capable of any of this stuff.
