Even if I just carefully say something like "hypergamy has a nickel of truth to it", the vast majority of women would take that as a personal insult and a subtle form of misogyny, they would assume that I'm on the border of going down a full on woman-hating rabbit hole, or that I'm just trying to sell my agenda like a slimy businessman.

Can women be shallow in how they go about dating in a way that's remotely noteworthy in a general sense? And if not, then how could we expect unsuccessful men not to hate themselves and think of themselves as utter losers? If women insist on female desire being rational and noble to the degree that it's innately delusional and toxic for a man to even think about women's desires as any kind of "silly", then shouldn't we stop saying shit like "men should not attach their self-worth to sexual/romantic success"? In that framing, men SHOULD attach their self-worth to their success with women, right? Because it's literally just attached to it by default. By virtue of women being into literal human worth (at least to the degree that them being into anything else is never noteworthy in any way shape or form, according to almost all women who participate in these discussions at least).
