I don’t understand the assertion of men’s SA cases being an argument against feminism. I think we can all agree that no matter the gender, neither men nor women who experience SA are taken seriously through the lenses of sexist social constructs. If you’re a woman you’re lying, were asking for it, should of been more careful etc. If you’re a man you should have enjoyed it, aren’t a real man, are shamed for being weak, etc. Statistics based on numerous SA studies show the result of these assumptions. These reactions to SA are disgusting, inhumane and evil, and both stem from the same patriarchal culture oppressing the sexes from getting the justice/ help they deserve.

So why is it that men SA cases are used to advocate against feminism, when really we’re both shooting for the same thing?
