You see the terms "high value" and "low value" males bandied about in these types of discussions, but I've seen enough ups and downs in life to value poeple who are true friends regardless of how society ranks them. I've dated women that were fabulously successful, leaders in their field, and those struggling to get by. Whether they are good or bad partners has little to do with where they fit on the pecking order of wealth and beauty.

I've known a few women that were sexually assualted and were able to reclaim their sexuality through the help of a patient compassionate male partner. In each of the cases that I know, the man lived a marginal life, working in retail or such. This is just speculation, but maybe such a man has more mental and emotional bandwidth to carry another's pain than one that works 60 hours a week at a demanding job. These are just some thoughts to add to the discussion.
