Unfortunately, I think people who are outspoken in this way will only ever partially make the point because there's currently more cultural cache in being a transmale than there is in being a male. For them to unequivocally state that men have it harder in ways that don't fit into notions of a partiarchy (or any other popular social theory) would remove the benefit of the doubt they'd receive as a transman.

What would have happened if this person had released an identical video describing men's issues, but left out the information that they were trans? Can anyone imagine the difference in the response (or lack thereof)?

Don't like to make bad predictions, but... This individual either will transition back to being a woman or will likely to commit suicide. Mentality wise he or she won't change mindset to adapt to situation that he/she is in. He/She still thinks in a way that entire world has to change and accept him/her as they accept themselves, but men live in the world where men have to change to adapt to the world, because there is little to no help for men, yet there are plenty help for women. That hatred and blaming men mentality will slowly make that individual unstable and mental dissonance will make situation worse and worse by the day.

Unless a correct assumption will be made and accepted that it's women who were rewarding and now punishing him/her, that women seek how they can get resources from men, that women put themselves first and support other women at the cost of men, mentally wise his/her mindset will get shredded by all kind of inconsistencies and knowing that her/him grown up as a woman, won't be able to take accountability, she/he won't change...

I'm glad that he brought up the suicide rate in men because we really need this to be taken more seriously. It'd just be almost Orwellian-ly comical and sad and ironic if people only gave a shit about the male suicide epidemic because trans men were feeling depressed and suicidal. People only care about depression, suicide, disenfranchisement, etc when it's the socially acceptable kind.
