You should read through all the comments on the previous post and how Indian women are talking about Indian men. I understand these posters are just a few individuals and do not represent all Indian women but they are calling Indian men incels, cucks, and telling other women to take the men, saying they don’t want them. We shouldn’t be surprised then they are dating other nationalities with what we know about how men value respect if this is how they are viewed (and I actually don’t think that post is a true representation of how they are viewed, and I’m sure it’s very much a “what came first the chicken or the egg” scenario in terms of where these sentiments came from, but I would be remiss to not call this out).

Celebrities/Household names =/=HVM

Anyone who is a famous athlete, influencer, policy maker, celebrity, etc shouldn’t be looked at to as the goal.

Your thinking is pretty nationalist, which is fine, but you only need ONE man, and he doesn’t have to be famous. I’m from a western country so totally different perspective but all of our athletes end up marrying internationally, it’s just how the world rolls now.

I think you’re hyper focused on wealth and status, which sure can add to someone’s value but focus more on character, similar goals, aligned thinking. End of the day it’s just going to be you and him and whatever you make of that life together. India isn’t running out of men

There is this trend were all the beautiful Asian women will get a normie (by US standards) boyfriend just because he is Caucasian. In the scale of the sexual market value asian and Indian get the lowest scores so that's why it happens, expect to see it more often (as we currently are) in this modern era

Most of the men you mentioned are travelling to foreign lands and maybe they are attracted to foreign women because they are something different than what they have seen throughout their life. But also lets be real some people have the beleive that these women are special and worth more than indian women(ghar ki murgi daal barabar). But don't forget all the big indian personalities that marry indian girls, there are lot of them.

I don’t mean to stereotype women or men. These are general treads I’ve observed in my experiences so far. As an Indian man who has dated quite a few Indian women, I find this kinda trend inspiring other women to look for extremely smv men. Like top athletes, top diplomats, celebrities, business men etc. there’s nothing wrong in wanting an successful man. But I believe one’s happiness depends on how they define success.

Most women from urban india love to to compare and try to always look for a man who is already at a highly successful place in life rather than look for someone with a amazing mindset, approach to life, and career.

This is from my experience only. Indian women are either having to much entitlement or they are too nice. I’ve rarely seen Indian women who value themselves and others around rationally and logically.

I might wanna marry an non Indian over an indian because most Indian women who have great education tend to be too egotistical, self centric. Or the ones with little to not so much education tend to be less ambitious.

At the end of they day. You do u. But it’s better to find someone who can understand you. Sets a life plan also considering your happiness. And understanding u doesn’t mean giving into to your whims but rather someone who is patient enough to listen, knowledge and practical. And also men have their own things going on in life.

Half of those men you mentioned are not high value men. Some of those dudes cheat around, visit strip clubs, have said disgusting things, their actions are not “high value” at all. I can show you videos and news articles. They have high SMV and ofc women are attracted to that and will go after that regardless of race. The type of women they attract are clearly after them due to status/money.

Having money and status doesn’t make you high value. I would rather marry a middle class man who is conservative, traditional, who will give me a beautiful and large family, and who doesn’t treat me like his second option.

Full text: Yesterday I saw that post about indian men and thought as a long time lurker here I should tell something to y'all I am insecured about.

I know I shouldn't, it's their personal choice but it still feels weird to see high SMV men of your country whom everyone look up to marry out idk why. I know a lot of them don't but once you notice it, it seems everywhere.

Like our Indian cricket captain, hardik Pandya, famous cricketers like yuvraj singh (who hit 6 sixes in an over), irfan pathan, our football team captain, Sandesh jhingan, our hockey team captain Manpreet Singh, our best ever foreign affairs minister, dr s Jaishankar, noble winning economist Abhijit banerjee, famous politician pawan kalyan,famous youtubers like vikkstar,Dhruv rathee, sham sharma, prakhar ke pravachan etc these are just a few examples of very successful and capable indian men who are married to foreign women. Like even famous Indian freedom fighters like Subhash Chandra Bose, rashbehari bose, Kunwar brajesh singh (husband of Stalin's daughter) etc were married to foreign women.

This is in no way means all high smv indian men marry out but if captains of top 3 sports of your country(cricket, football and field hockey here) was married out wouldn't it appear a little weird. The triggering part is my young brother looks upto them(that's how I came to know) and I know so many men in our country do for their leadership and achievements.

I am passionate about my country and idolize those who contribute to it. It's just this thing triggers me so much.

I'm not indian but I'm SA, and I have no problem with SA men dating out. I've always dated out myself so I think SA men should do the same. However, I do have a problem with them bringing entitled people into the community and not correcting them. And also, if you have a problem with them dating out you should do the same- you can find high value men in other communities too.
