Looking for some advice, I ask, has been officially moved out and we have been divorced for one month. She found somebody she liked better than me and in that month the kids have only been to her house overnight two times. We have a nine-year-old son and a five-year-old daughter. Of course they miss their mother because she was a superstar mom and kept the whole house and check while we were married up until the last six months or so. We waited until after school and baseball season to get everything finalized and her move out so that it did not disrupt the kids during that time. Now that she is MIA, the kids of course miss her every time they talk about a concern to me I try to let her know what is bothering the kids so that way she is informed and we can be on the same page with coparenting. Last night my older son came to me to tell me he thinks his mom is talking to another guy and that that guy is taking all his mom’s love away from him and his sister and that is why she is not in the house or with our family. They also complained the are only two times they have stayed the night at her house. She does nothing but be on the phone and that is where he heard her talking to the guy the last time he stayed. I am going out of town with my father next week so she will have them all week, with nothing I can do. She has already agreed to let me have them as soon as I get back and let me keep them the next week she is supposed to have them after I get back. I spoke with her this morning to let her know what our son was feeling and had talked about and his concerns, she got upset and said she would have a talk with him because he’s not gonna tell her how to live her life. This upsets me because I know it will upset him very much. I have always felt like sharing what the kids are feeling and their concerns with her is the right thing but after today I am wondering how much should I be sharing?
