Earlier when out today I saw someone wearing a shirt that had this stupid slogan on it. Just another variation of other sexist and supremacist garbage like "The future is female" and "girls run the world." I bet "Boys rule" would cause an instant shitstorm and be accused of being sexist and misogynistic. The double standards are so infuriating. But worse still is how this affects young boys regularly exposed to this sort of misandrist nonsense. Hearing all the time about how men are bad and are the source of all that's wrong in the world, and all this crap about girl power and how girls rule, etc. And let's not forget the doozy of a shirt that said "Boys are stupid, throw rocks at them." I mean can you just imagine what would erupt if that said girls? It's disgusting enough how hated against men is normalized and even enforced, but to hate on boys as well? That's a whole other level of evil and cruelty.

I know I rant about this sort of thing a lot here but I just had to get this off my chest. I'm beyond fed up seeing this sort of sexist and divisive garbage that does nothing but make the genders enemies of each other when they don't even know each other. True equality won't be accomplished until we start doing away with stupid slogans like this but of course the misandrist crowd won't have it. And to be fair, I feel "boys rule" would be just as stupid a slogan. Neither promotes equality or harmony at all.
