I saw the screenshots and I even said "I'm going to wait for a trial / further evidence before I pronounce judgement" and I was called a misogynist for doing so..

I refuse to watch Rick and Morty anymore. Not because Justin isn't replaceable, but because the reasons for his termination were utterly ridiculous. Socially, no one cares about due process. Look at what happened to Johnny Depp too. When will this stop?

Justin is one guy. His case is particularly high-profile and non-representative. All we can tell is media companies will often pre-emptively cancel men accused of sexual misconduct without a full investigation, in contrast to women who have survived admitting to raping men. But it doesn’t necessarily prove that men are broadly assumed guilty.

But we don’t even know he’s innocent. He may or may not have done it, we just don’t have the evidence.
