You can use YouTube for help, look up color theory + mens fashion/wardrobe. Learning what colors work for your skin tone and match each other goes a long ways.

Nordstrom has free (paid on commission) fashion ambassadors that can also help. Any style: casual, business, professional, etc. Can always actually buy somewhere less expensive.

Basically you have 5 things to choose and 3 cores. Your cores are shirt + pants + shoes. Then the other two are coat/jacket and accessories.

Here's the main take way: FIT. Most guys wear cloths that don't fit and aren't cut for their body type. This makes a huge difference. I never dress for attract women, but I did start wearing better fitted clothes and that makes a huge difference. Again youtube or a visit to Nordstrom can help you.

Ultimately you need to be comfortable and confident in whatever you wear. Nothing wrong with jeans and tee shirts. If properly fitted and cut, good color for you, and you feel good in them; that's all that matters.

Going through this as well. I think I have it reasonably well figured out and I'm your age.

- Good quality polo shirts that fit right. Solids only, for me. Colors that look good on me. Golf shirts are great, even though I don't golf.

- Button down dress shirts.

- Button down linen shirts. Not very expensive.

Good quality jeans with decent shoes.

Through a good, simple, solid blazer when you really want to look sharp (blue or black)

This is a good idea, let's share some style tips.

Nice looking jeans, a button down dress shirt (that fits) - [sleeves rolled up] and some brown leather dress shoes; has become my uniform. Shirt can be untucked or tucked - with a leather belt that matches my shoes.

I like Charles Tyrwhitt non-iron shirts and Allen Edmond leather dress shoes.

Nice watch with a leather band that matches my brown shoes and belt.

Charles Tywhitt always has sales - 3 shirts for $100. Its a good deal for a quality shirts that fit well. Figure out your size first. For instance, I have to go with their classic fit instead of the slim fit as my pecs are too big for their slim fit with anything close to my neck size.
