I score 96th percentile on openness to new experience. I might be arrogant too, but I'm definitely pretty open minded.

I think pill ideology is rather regimented and invites criticisms from other regimented types. Most discussions here are the same arguments being rehashed over and over. Every once in a while there's a gem of originality which is what Im trying to snort up like cocaine.

In the end though the real reason I like this place is because of the usual suspects/regular users on here.

I'd say the main problem would be the way dating is viewed here. Dating is two people making a connection. Dating here is men vs women. It's weird. Everyone seems to have lost sight of what the fuck dating even is.

No, it is because people can only understand what they experience.

Because straight people only date the other gender and they do not live what the other side goes through, they end up having very biased takes.

Like how men do not understand how dangerous a man can be and women do not understand how poorly women treat men. Or how women do not understand how lonely it is to be a man, while men do not understand how it feels to be treated as inferior for being a girl. Or how women do not understand what it is like to be objectified as a tool or how men do not understand what it is like to be objectified as a object.

Then this results in miscommunication between the two genders because of how they react to each other.

So when women make it difficult to date them because they are afraid of men hurting them, men take this negatively for they personally would never hurt her. So they act defensively and get upset to this. To which women then respond by getting upset by and think they are being bigoted. To which makes men more upset because they feel like they are being gaslit.

Men start wanting sex quickly or refuse to date women with a high n count because they are tired of how women are dishonest, how women keep using them as tools and are controlling them with sex. Women then take this to mean that men want the impossible and get upset about. Men then get mad for they think women are just being hypocrites because of how they judge men for there lack of sexual experience.

Etc, etc.

Arrogance is deadly. The more I see it in the people around me who exhibit it, the more I see it as a really unattractive trait to the opposite gender. I see a LOT of it in older passport bros whose wives hate them silently in a Donald/Melania kind of way.

If you are talking about arrogance on here (which I am certainly guilty of) then Its worth pointing out that some opinions and beliefs don't deserve an open mind. The obvious here being racist beliefs. Trying to engage a racist on their own terms is never the right way, you have to deny the possibility of them ever being right. Because racist beliefs are intrinsically wrong.

Online, and especially on things like PPD, people feel comfortable saying things they would never say IRL. They may have this or that reason "I get shouted down" or whatever, but the fact that there are more inherently unacceptable opinions being made here than in life, means there is often a need for a more confrontational approach. An approach that denies the possibility that they can be right if it results in such a wrong opinion.

Out in the world if someone said the things that get said on here, I would call them a fucking moron and move on. The world is big enough to ignore these people, which is exactly what many men especially here complain about.

We are all here to engage, or lurk. Nobody is required to do so out there.

Men are not arrogant at all when it comes to dating. Most guys are just trying to get a woman not lower than 2 out of 10 of his own attractiveness.

Men are significantly less selective than women. Stop telling them they need to be open minded. If anything, they need to be less open minded.

I'm the least arrogant person.

I've got results most people here only dream of. I know I look good because I regularly go toe to toe with guys a lot of people here would cream their pants over and call "chads" and don't lose. Altho again this has nothing to do with anything they or I do and just comes down to the particular phenotype preference of whichever woman in question. I have a shit ton of experience...huge body count, been in all kinds of relationships and situationships.

Achieved a lot in my career and other endeavors. I'm a parent.

I'll be 40 in a few years.

All of that CV is to say that if I sound firm in what I say it's because I speak from experience.

The main problem is that people cannot think outside of their bubble. They think their bubble is actually the real world, which it really isn't. Why do people hate when Holywood movie stars talk about real world problems? Because those Holywood stars are out of touch. Their bubble is the real world for them, and thus when covod happened, they acted like they and the average persona re in the same exact situation when in reality, they are not. They have no idea how it is to be the average person because they think in their mind that most people are liek them.
