I've been emotional around different women (granted they were all related to deaths or serious illnesses in my family).

If she likes you and takes you seriously, she'll take your emotions seriously. Make sure how you handle your emotions is proportional to the trigger. For example, bawling because you lost a game of CoD - yeahhh, don't do that cuz NOBODY will take you seriously.

The actual piece of advice that is most probable to help you is therapy. I struggled with showing any kind of vulnerability for a long time (although for a different reason, I hated to be a possible object of pity) but therapy has helped me tremendously with that.

As a woman if she cares about you she will listen to your feelings, boundaries, or concerns and validate your feelings. My boyfriend recently brought up something that was bothering him and I listened to his concerns and told him “Thank you for expressing your feelings. Your needs are valid.”

As a woman, I can safely say there's nothing more attractive to me than when a man is willing to show me his vulnerable side. And if a woman doesn't appreciate that you are a human being with emotions, she isn't worth your time.
