Hello! I got divorced an year back and recently planning to get remarried.

Am I legally required to tell the court system or CPS or my Ex wife about my remarriage for child support purposes since I have a child with my ex who we co-parent.

Edit: For all those thinking why I am getting remarried so early. Here are my reasons.

  1. She takes really good care of my son and loves him a lot. At least when my son is with me I will be able to provide him a complete family experience
  2. She earns more than me
  3. We are on same page with not having any more kids. So no question about child support.
