Not sure if this is the right place, but wanted to share.

Went to the grocery store today to pick up a few things I'm out of. It was pretty crowded, as you might expect. As I'm going down the aisle, an older woman stopped me and asked me if I could reach something at the back of the shelf for her. I reached in and grabbed it, then handed it to her. As she took, she said "thank you" and seemed genuinely appreciative.

As I walked away, I noticed a strange feeling that brought back memories. It was a feeling of satisfaction for doing something for someone that truly appreciated it. It made me realize that it had been a long time since I'd experienced it. It felt good. I'll probably never see that lady again in my life, but if I did, I'd thank her for reminding me what that feeling was like.
