Had my ex perjure herself in court right in front of the judge. I proved she was lying easily with text messages. Of course they didn't care and still ruled in her favor. This was about her punching me in the face and giving me a black eye that had to lie about to everyone that knew us, not something small. The judge wasn't even going to ask her about til I asked the judge to ask her. Family court is rigged against men.

Because its not a serious crime, but there absolutely should be made legislation just for these nasty, disgusting, vile false accusers, these women must be made examples to put the fear of god into them, they should and deserve the exact same punishment bit worse than the man whos life they tried ruin. False accusers should be condemned the same way pedophile men are.

They should be absolutely HATED, made examples off, but because they have vaginas we all know that wont happen and they will keep getting away with it and therefore keep doing it.

Considering the accusation could result in a prison sentence for the accused, its reasonable to say that they punishment should be consistent with the sentence that the wrongly convicted (or accused) would have gotten -- or at the very least half of it.

A lot women do it because they know they will get away with it. I recently watched a woman making up lies about her ex while sat in the witness box and confronted with contradictory video evidence. Part of her entire way of life, she’s a pathological liar, a narcissist and yet the police and courts refuse to acknowledge the witnesses and evidence and believe what she tells them. This behaviour has been enabled by a judicial system that is biased against men in all domestic issues in the uk.

Because proving she intentionally lied is significantly more difficult than establishing the absence of evidence to substantiate the allegations. Then you have the category of women who legimately think they have been raped becaise they have been taught b.s. feminist theory ( i.e. regret is rape; you can never consent when you have had something to drink, etc.; she was lied to about something) when what happened doesn't meet the legal definition.

It's sometimes punished, notably when the woman makes dozens of accusations. But those are rare cases, most argue they shouldn't be to not deter victims to come forward (shitty argument but eh, arguments being shitty doesn't mean they don't make laws).

Curious where you got the 7-10 year figure, as what google brings up for me is a maximum federal sentence for perjury being 5 years, with some advisory sentencing (meaning, the average/typical) closer to 15-21 months, for perjury alone.

With the extra thing that a judge assigning the sentencing probably isn't going to think it's "that bad" for 1 person to lie about something that only effected 1 other person. They aren't going to prosecute Stacy lying about Chad to the full extend of the federal law there. But when it's like Bernie Madoff lying and cheating a some hundreds/thousands of people out of their retirement, you bet your ass they're going to throw the book at him.

Context maters ... sometimes it's perjury, sometimes it's filing a false police report, sometimes it's lying to a federal officer (a criminal offense), sometimes they're f*cked up majorly in the head and don't know sh*t from reality and believe the sh*t in their head to be real when it's anything but.

And, for punished ... that requires prosecution and conviction. Typically DAs will only prosecute what's likely to get a conviction. If they think it unlikely jury will convict, they may try to do plea bargain and get some lesser conviction, or they may drop it entirely if they think it's unlikely they'd even get that. But those are matters criminal ... beyond a reasonable doubt - a much higher burden of proof.

One can also pursue civilly - where burden of proof is only preponderance of the evidence, a.k.a. more likely than not - that won't put the person behind bars, but monetary judgements, and may well be able to collect on those ... and if substantial, that may be rather "punishment", though not incarceration.

Sometimes it is - but how many false accusers take it as far as knowingly making false statements under oath in court? Not many. Helluva lot of false accusations may be quite damaging, but many won't even take it as far as a police report - because they dang well know there are criminal penalties for making a false police report. So many will just flap their jaw and post on social media and such, but will never call the police nor file a police report. And to that, I say put up, or shut up. Yeah, when I'm robbed or burglarized, I call the cops, I file police report. I don't post it on social media and flap my jaw about it, and not call the cops and not file a police report.

They are very hard to proove. The false accuser is also innocent until proven guilty, so convicting the false accuser would not just require the accused be found innocent, it would require proving beyond a reasonable doubt that the accused could not have done the crime. The only situation I can think of this being possible is if there was time stamped security video footage of the accused far away from where the alleged crime took place.

Just because something isn’t proven in criminal court (burden of proof is externally high) doesn’t mean that it didn’t happen or a judge doesn’t belive it happened necessarily. People report crimes everyday. Doesn’t mean there is enough evidence. Not enough evidence doesn’t mean it’s a lie.

Because innocence until proven guilty dictates the burden of proof falls on the victim of the crime. It’s extremely difficult someone deliberately tried to screw you over via false accusations.
