I have never understood this question. Few years back there was a strange trend of the companies who used to boast about the number of women in their organisations. I don't have any problem with the increasing women in the organisation but I am not understanding the reason behind increasing women in the STEM only. Also there are many organisations/fields where women outnumber men like fashion, HR, modelling etc. but government is busy in focusing on STEM only. From where all these started? What is the root of this trend? And, what are your thoughts about it?
