Yeah, admittedly I could qualify as an incel. I am technically on the spectrum and am very socially naive and inexperienced and stupid and also have anxiety. And then I got Title IX’d, it had little to do with anything sexual more so with the social and emotional stupidity. I don’t call myself an incel but I feel very lonely and I don’t think romantic relationships still seem possible for me, and I just want close friendships and people and hopefully a girlfriend

Very good analysis. The incels are simply the lower class of our SMP that is heavily tilted in favor of women and alphas. If the masses of mid value men (betas) started to realize that their interests are best served by standing with the incel against the system - that's when real change will occur. That's what feminists don't want, and why they so fear and demonize the incel.

I think we need to distinguish between self proclaimed incels who have a radical hate based agenda, and normal but disenfranchised young men.

While they all need help and compassion to some degree, it is also imperative that we don't allow the lines to become blurred between some of these individuals and the wider men's rights movement.

There is a lot of anti women sentiment and resentment expressed by some of these individuals which is inaccurate and often completely unhinged. It needs to be called out just as much as the extremism on the other side.

In my experience being a good role model to any young men in your life, and promoting positive masculine values is incredibly beneficial, and if more men do this we would be somewhere toward a solution. Part of this involves making it clear that unacceptable behaviour won't be tolerated, even if it hurts someones feelings, incels and women included.

I'd argue that male feminists are the actual incels, but they don't even realize it. Most women find sexist men attractive and despise men who treat them as equals, and male feminists do the latter. But they have the audacity to call you an "incel" while they struggle to get a woman or are in a relationship with a female that mistreats them.

I don't recall Rodger ever using the term "incel" in any of his deranged rants, and considering the fact that he killed mostly men when he snapped, the idea that he was "targeting" the other sex is laughable. As for your other example, the judge in the Maniassian case concluded that he was only pretending to align with the ideology. The written verdict/sentencing states clearly that he was just referencing it to try and get media attention, which worked to some degree. That ruling was based entirely on the findings of the police investigation. So even the two shining examples of this moral panic are total nonsense when you look into them.

After the huge wave of fearmongering around imminent "incel attacks" in the media several years ago, it's interesting to note that we have had no events (thankfully) of any note related to these communities. An entire planet of billions, but nothing happened. Yet, if we just turn our gaze elsewhere, we see the deaths, injury, and untold misery caused by proxy violence – ironically using the same techniques that coopted institutions to censor communities discussing the ideas around "incels" and "mgtow" – have been numerous across the same time period. However, society unfortunately doesn't care in those cases, because that is just men suffering at the cold-blooded hands of governments, law enforcement, academia, news media, social media, etc. All because males are "born guilty" – we have "dangly bits" after all! – and therefore cannot be victims.

So who is the more dangerous group again? Between "incels" and those attacking them, I'd say the latter. They are objectively worse in the real life pain and loss of life they've inflicted upon the world.

Incels are pretty much people with mental illnesses or too ugly/unattractive. That sounds to me like people who would need help and support instead of hate.

I'm not an incel but I share some of their feelings, I tend to be lonely and dislike how society works, and I'm insecure despite having had relationships...so I visited their forums too. They are certainly weird and cynical but that is. Elliot Rodger and Minassian don't represent them at all, those are two guys out of what...hundreds of thousands, millions...?

So it has just become a shaming insult. You sound mysoginyst? Incel. You disagree with a woman? Incel. You complain about loneliness or lack of sex just to vent? Incel. You are a conservative? Incel.

The funniest thing perhaps is the fact that there's a really big chance whoever calls you an incel is the typical motherf*cker with cero standards who has been abusive in some way to the one or two girls he has been with but he doesn't even realize It.

It's funny, not very often but at a few times I have been accused of being one, yet most of my exes admited I was a good man who treated them well and most of my current friends are female.

It’s like “racist” and “fascist”. These really mean something, but have been totally debased by their use as smears. Incel is being turned into the same. I’ve seen guys with kids being called “Incels”. And that’s why the demonisation won’t stop. Because the term itself is now seen as a term for demonisation.

It’s so hilarious that the same feminists who have been passed around/ran through, who claim that “body count shouldn’t matter,” use the word “incel” as an insult to men to try to shame them. So shaming a man for his body count (or lack there of) is perfectly fine, but hold women accountable for their body count even for 1 second and you’re the biggest misogynist piece of shit in the world.

But we do need more sympathy and resources for incels.

Incel is short for Involuntarily Celibate, it's meant as an insult, kind of like "They couldn't 'get any' if they tried.".
Given that's its history, I'm not sure why you or anyone else could see that as positive and want to use that word.

The demonization of incels has nothing to do with Autism or Mental Illness. It's entirely based off their creepy behaviour which is entirely in their hands, not some "unfair" stereotype placed upon them; they are self-perpetuating. If they just stopped behaving creepily, nobody would have a problem with them. You know exactly what I mean, don't try to deny it.

Also, don't complain about the usage of incel as an insult while muttering cuck as an insult, it invalidates any point you had. Being a cuck is a voluntary sexual preference, not some insult or meme.
