It makes sense. Society bends over backward for women. Takes their every little grievance seriously. All public institutions serve them. The government gives them whatever they want. Of course you have become more liberal when the social contract puts you and your desires above all other concerns.

It depends what "liberal" means. I think a lot of Americans would do well to bear in mind that, in the rest of the world, it doesn't generally mean the same thing as it does in, say, Nebraska.

Still, if "liberal" means a permissive attitude to living any way you like so long as it doesn't affect anyone else, equality of opportunity, affordable access to healthcare, and so on - fine.

If "liberal" means the sort of divisive identity politics which is in fact hideously illiberal - not so fine.

At least the right is pretty transparent and consistent in what they offer men and women - equal rights, and responsibilities largely correlating with each genders’ biological capabilities. The left offers women the world, but what does the left offer men?

Well yeah once abortion was back on the table of course they would side with more liberal opinions on it. That’s just self preservation.

Yeah honestly I tend to hate the left more than the right at this point I’m just not a Trump fan. I don’t even know how tf to vote in this election I’m praying Trump gets disqualified so I can vote for someone else who can win. But who knows. I can’t vote for Trump I just can’t. And I won’t vote for Biden so I guess i vote independent in that case which is like abstaining without abstaining. I’m secretly rooting for. Nikki Haley I would love to have a conservative woman president I think that would be super helpful.
