Thank you in advanced, I know this is a difficult thing to talk about.

It was a major eye opener for me the night I was assaulted and stabbed by a woman. I was already an MRA by that point, but I truly wasn't prepared for just bad misandrist society truly was. A female neighbor taunted for "liking punching little girls in the face...." the woman the night before had followed me home, threatened to kill me, tried getting out of her car, and then stabbed me twice, once in the arm, once in the neck. I had to go to hospital. It remains the most traumatic event in my life. But the stabbing wasn't the worst part, it was society's react to it.

The most common first response I get when I tell people?

"Why did she follow you?" But it's not just a tone of curiousity....it's a tone of suspicion. It's like the "what were you wearing" question, they are trying to pick apart how I caused it, how it was my fault, what did I do to make her follow me home and stab me.

"You just really wanna beat on girls for no reason"

"you must have done something to irritate her"

etc.

It's scary.

So when did it happen to you? And what happened to you? How did it change your perspective on things? What kind of reactions did you get? Did people treat you differently?
