Okay a few things.

1) YES, healthy men realise that shit tests aren't meant to be taken seriously. Even if a woman is getting serious about it, let her get angry, laugh it off.. play off the question once but if she's adamant just keep giving her shitty answers for her shitty test. She will get the message and chill out, because women are so much more socially superior (on average) than men that she will know to not look like a spaz and leave the issue alone. If she doesn't and she persists with anger or seriousness GOOD, you've got her.. she's now in YOUR shit test. Keep stringing her along and let her get angry and miserable and stupid and loud while you laugh and act chill, she will want you even more AND she will look like the bad one now you have the upper-hand.. she ends the date/dumps you after you didn't play along? GREAT bullet dodged, and you let her and more importantly you let yourself know that you aren't so desperate for pussy that you sacrifice your self worth for it.

2) Despite what I said in number 1, you've come to the wrong conclusion. The reason why women do shit tests is because it's like a (shitty) way to test your mental health. "Will this guy spaz out and hit me if I laugh at his shirt? or will he laugh at himself and roast me back?" Do you get it? It's not to make you miserable. Women put a lot of investment into a guy and she is good socially as a female so she needs to know if you're up to scractch, for example there's no need to test your physical ability your muscles, complexion, height, dress sense etc. Should all give clues as to how strong and adjusted/wealthy you are. But the only way to gague mental health is by testing it through conversations like shit tests.

The only men who become miserable from shit tests are men who are so insecure that they let any little neg ruin their life. The only men who need to worry about being the "most controllable" are the weak men who can't stand up to a female because they're scared of losing pussy or looking like a big fat meanie.

If there's anything you'd like me to explain I can do it for you, I just ask you don't go down that negative path OP. Sick of hearing about demoralised men.

There is a difference between shit tests and insults. And it seems like you are confusing the two things as being the same.

If a woman says “you are ugly” that’s not a shit test, that’s an insult. You don’t need to tolerate that or try to joke.
If a woman says “are you hitting on me?” or “i bet you say that to other girls”.

Those are shit tests, that’s not an attack on you, that’s just her trying to figure out if you are honest and genuine about liking her or not which is a legitimate thing to figure out, because many guys just pretend they like her when they truly don’t.

I had the same mindset for a while. But believe that women don’t wake up and think to themselves I’m going to mistreat men today and I’m gonna put them through shit test so that I can prove I’m better than them.

They are just trying to see if you have an actual integrity. If you are being super cocky or super confident, they are going to want to test that what you are saying is true.

Men also shit test woman. Take it light my dude not everything revolves about women making men feel bad.

I originally came here because I emphatically agree with your post title: shit test are a creature of men’s minds. In reality, it’s just typical banter. Laugh, be witty, don’t take it seriously, give it back. That’s all there is to it, and that’s for all interpersonal interaction, not just flirting (although banter is obviously more prevalent in flirting).

But the body of your post is wild lol. Women aren’t mean or horrible or despicable. They’re just people. Some are bad, but not at any greater rate than men are (probably less tbh). You should take some time and think about which experiences have led you to hold these beliefs. I bet if you really think about it you’ll come to realize there’s nothing attributable to “women” as a whole.

Women aren’t bad. They’re looking for something and trying to figure out how to get it, just like men. That’s what everyone is doing.

This mindset is holding you back, women are not the enemies, you just have to realized that they are wired to get with the best man they can be with.

You need to hold the mirror up and work on yourself to the max, hit the gym (If you don't have a visible six pack and muscles you aren't in enough shape), get your style on point, haircut on point, lose fat, etc.
