I have a lot of time to people watch when going out and you sort of understand the sort of personalities women are attracted to the most. These tend to be fun guys, funny guys, guys who don't take life too seriously. There's a another post who used the word whimsical or another.

But what if your personality is just not this. People say personality can't be changed. My personality while not necessarily introverted all the time (though I think I am) tends to be serious. I'm more of a contemplative thinker. Jesting around is not me. I have made women laugh, but more often than not unintentionally. I don't necessarily take life seriously, but I take the world seriously. Like I am passionate about my hobbies and interests. I have intellectual interests say in politics and history, and other endeavours. These qualities might sound interesting, but they don't really show in your personality and they don't make for a fun person to be with. 1 on 1 conversations tend to work much better for me, but for that to happen, you have to be successful with pickup and social environment. I find my personality tends to struggle in group and noisy environments.

Some of us believe that we can change our personalities but I've heard psychologists say you can't fundamentally change who you are. What would you do if believe your personality to be a problem?
