I've never managed to have a friendly conversation in those venues.

Usually I arrive there and look for groups that look interesting and fun, so that I could have fun with them too.

I open them with something like "Heeey" or offer a highfive, but all I get is a look of disdain. Like "wtf does this guy want".

When I want to give value to people by cheering them up, they either don't react at all, or they laugh at me and point at me with their friends.

Then when I go to the dancefloor and try to have fun by myself, people start to move away from me (probably because I look very uncomfortable).

I do feel very uncomfortable in my body but I try to fight it and look friendly.

I know you'll say stuff like "you have to be happy by yourself first". Yeah but why would I go out during the night if I was already happy? (expect for getting girls) Getting validation is my only goal.

I want to feel strong and grounded in those venues, right now I feel weak and small, like a puppy looking for someone to love it and pet it.

How do I get from this to being the center of the party and a people magnet?
