Being nice vs friendly. Is there a difference?

Often being too “nice” or “friendly” means you haven’t struck any intense feelings in her body. You were too accepting, there was no polarity, flirting, strong eye contact etc.

A lot of guys just chit chat with women like their grandma, she should know you have a dick!

i see it like this (put simply).
nice- generally positive, most opinions spoken will benefit the audience. Will say things that may even be slightly incorrect to make someone feel good. Will do things for people because they are nice and want to help. Good at socialising, coming off as agreeable.
friendly- speaks their mind on topics, has own opinions however will avoid too much confrontation by being positive. Will do things for people because they want to help. Good at socialising, coming off as approachable.

I’ve heard that being “nice” usually comes at the expense of yourself and may come off as forced or disingenuous. One should rather be “good” and focus more on doing the right thing instead of trying to appear to be a nice/kind person. This includes tipping well, volunteering, helping out rather than just saying things that put you in a good light.

Being to nice, or flirty, will land you in HR if done in the workplace. We had a girl that thought she could, but you couldn't. Touchy freely type. If you took it wrong, she made a bee line for the boss. After about the 3 guy getting reported, they started watching her. She ended up getting fired. Turns out she was caught on Mers pulling her bs.

Literally show interest if your nice it wouldnt be hard complement her looks, her smarts, good things about her, empathize with her, get to know her, let her get to know you, be yourself, be transparent, respectful, show your reations to the world, take constructive critisim, and respect boundaries. You have the best way to start you just need consistency and sustained interest depending on the relationship. Also location location location girls do go to some places to get picked up if they want because online doesnt do it for them, but no matter the place, respect of her person and boundaries is key to any relationship you may want with her. Also you need to remember people do have types and you could be talking to people that you are not the type of or they want something more substantial than you might be willing to offer. If you are still having trouble, wander, try something new or do something you love more regularly cause having a common interest can help alot especially if the problem is information sharing with yourself or someone else. Too many women have been raped by supposed nice guys in this day and age because their definition of nice and friendly as a woman can be different for a mans. For women friendliness is something to give without expectation. Granted there is exceptions to the rule as there can be people who abuse this hence the stopping of giving it or as a defense mechanism. For men i have learned that its to give with expectation of a return of some sort whether emotionally, complementary, physically(rape), and gifting. Granted the identity of the people who define friendilness differently can vary due to a variety of things, but they are mostly seen with men being the ones expecting return for friendliness and women (and alot of people of the lgbtq2s+ and minorities but thats a whole other topics and discussions) just being friendly with no expectations of it being returned. The traits of expectation of recipriocation are also patriarcal traits that have been sustained for too long and are sadly ingrain into men since childhood through fixed systems that are there for that purpose from long ago and maintained still to this day especially in the US.

So in summary: stay friendly and respect other peoples decisions, bodies, and boundaries and you will get farther in building a relationship with them than assuming that they owe you anything. (Cause they dont) these things also apply to you too because you dont owe anyone anything either if you dont want to.

Being nice is when you lose yourself and your values to get validation and be accepted. Being friendly is when you do good things because you enjoy doing them.
