I once asked a female friend out and she told me she liked me but that she prefered us to be just friends. She had a boyfriend of whom I didn't know anything, she was very secretive with her relationship, I think she was the side chick.

A couple of months later we met at a club and we hooked up. We dated for about three months, but I didn't feel comfortable with the relationship, now knowing about the ex-bf and suspecting about her being the side chick (huge red flag IMO), and she was kind of distant from time to time. We broke up and remained acquaintances, we hooked up some months later, just a one night stand.

We text from time to time, but I prefer not to get too involved.

Rejection is a purely transitorial thing. If anything as long as you're reasonably well put together most girls will be attracted to you given the right circumstances etc.

No, I have abundance mentality. I move on to the next few girls. But I also don't consider a woman not being interested a rejection. I had a HS girl say no...and years later tell me I should have tried again. Um...no. Why would I? :)

Ask the people who said they'd been with a rejection..how many non rejections they've been with. :)

Yeah, she shot me down when we were in high school and asked me out in our 20s because I spent the intervening years focusing on school, my job, my body and appearance, and my hobbies. It probably helped that I truly didn't care about getting with her for years and continue to not care to this day.

If you're asking if that girl will ever change her mind about you then the answer is no. Move on and get on with your life, and find that girl that likes you.
