Context is everything, man. What's your rapport with this girl? How do you think she wants you to respond? Is she teasing you, or is she fishing for compliments? Agree...this is a tough call.

I think keeping it casual (wink, etc.) is good.

Escalation is important here just as it is in person...let it build slowly.

The best thing to do is not act shocked or surprised. But definitely express approval...tell her she looks hot...but don't ask for more...let her be in control.

I just sent a woman some fairly graphic pics of myself (after she requested)...and was surprised how much I enjoyed it.
