I'm certain that I'm physically attractive, but I'm not so good at being attractive otherwise. I've been told by many people that I'm very good looking, and I believe it, too. I'm quickly realizing that just looks won't really get me much of anywhere. I've got to have something more than being a prettyboy.

I don't consider myself unintelligent, and I regularly hold up conversations with people (friends and parents of friends) much older and more mature than me. I'm not anti-social, in fact I love being social, I just find it hard to talk to people I don't know.

I've tried attracting women, but I usually end up seeming too desperate. I talk to them and ask them to hang out, and usually get put off indefinitely. If I don't talk to the women I know, they never ever talk to me. I find it hard to be attractive when if I'm talking, I'm 'desperate', and if I'm not talking, I don't exist.

Is there any way I can make women chase me? If I go for them, I come off as pathetic. And no matter how good I look, they just won't pursue me. My friend pool has stagnated, so I'm willing to accept that I should forget about every woman that I know because I've probably already screwed my chances with them (you've got to break clocks to figure out how they work).

Most of the girlfriends I've had are the ones that I only had to speak to a little and they were completely obsessed before I even said a word. As you probably know, this makes for shitty relationships.

Also: I'm slightly below average height, and have been my whole life. While I know this doesn't really matter, it has done a number on my confidence. I feel like women don't find me attractive because I'm not tall and powerful; while my friends over 6 feet get any and every girl they want. Feels bad, man.
