Its kind of redundant, the girl knows you are hitting on her, whether or not you are 'seducing' her depends on whether or not its working. So you are just verbalizing your actions, which is pretty pointless. Why, while drinking, would you tell people: "I am drinking now."? It will most likely work against you.

However, flipping it around would have better effects: [to her] "Are you trying to seduce me?"

Don't. Girls want "plausible deniability," they don't want to be forced to think about their seduction. They want to maintain their belief that they just went over to your place to watch a movie, and it just happened.

I was once attempting to hook up with a group of 6 friends. I made offhand comments about 6/6. I was at 3/6, and when I started making the comments I had hooked up with all of them by the end of the week.

Not advice, simply an anecdote, but it does work.

I wouldn't come out and say it randomly. But I think it's okay to admit it if they call you on it. I've had this exchange a few times:

HB: Are you trying to seduce me?

Me: Yeah, is it working?

I've tried telling girls a few times that I'm a pick up artist. Its never worked for me anywhere close to opening. In comfort once, when asked what I like to do, I thought it'd be a good DHV. Turns out it worked, but I had to actively tell the girl that I wasn't picking her up.

In seduction phase, telling a girl exactly what she's feeling (and being right) is a great routine I use that only escalates further.

Yes and you don't need to be an "expert," to do it as some are claiming. Alan Roger Currie wrote about it in his book "Mode One," which I think is something guys should be given in high school before they get exposed to manipulation and "seduction," techniques.

"Listen, I think you're attractive." "Let's get together next week."

If you can maintain eye contact with a women and say those two things, you'll be further ahead than 99% of guys out there. This is a little known technique called HONESTY. It actually takes real balls though.

I have a friend whose favorite opening line is "hey ladies I'm just going to hit on you for a while, ok?" It works for him because he owns it.

If I'm really far along with a girl I met, and it's obvious that things are going bedroom-bound, I sometimes make overt sexual references like "i'm going to rip your panties off you tonight" but by that point I could be saying anything and she'd still be good to go.

"I'm going to seduce you" could work if you did it as a cheesy jokey type of line, otherwise I don't see that you have anything to gain from it. If you have good rapport with a 2- or 3- set, and are far along with one of them, and a friend chimes into your conversation or interrupts you, a line like "hey do you mind, I'm seducing your friend here" in a jokey tone could be well-received, but again, it doesn't really gain you much.

Can you do it without sounding like you care, like you're making a joke of it, like you know she'll think it's the funniest/ballsiest/awesomest thing she's ever heard? Can you do all that and keep talking like you told her the color of your socks? Then do it.

Yeah, if you're in direct god mode, you might pull it off once or twice. After you're already in. Otherwise, it's not going to go well for you.

I can see some arguments for it. it's extremely confident, and very unconventional. But you need to have developed a lot of attraction already for it to work.

I agree with others who said it's for experts.

I did a different thing the other day, pretending to pick up a girl that I already knew. I was with a mixed group and we were walking from a bar to a karaoke in Tokyo. People were spread apart so I approached one of the girls and pretended to be picking her up. "Hey, are you by yourself?" At first she didn't understand then I continued with "How about we get some tea?" which is a stereotypical Japanese pickup line. Then she got the joke and started roleplaying with "oh I have a boyfriend", "sorry, I'm in a hurry". A minute later she turned tables on me and pretended to be a hostess girl trying to get a client on the street.

I've seen examples from the PUA community where this type of extreme "direct game" works but it's really fairly advanced.

That being said, why not try it and tell us how it works?
