Simple steps to take to get out of the friendzone.

I responded to a dude in r/relationship advice who was at risk of falling into the friendzone with this girl he "stayed up all night, heartracing, thinking about" because he was sooooo in looooove. He was at risk of developing oneitis. They were both in High School but these steps can be applied by any man in or around the dreaded friendzone. My advice follows:

Kissing and cuddling without sex is a bit of a bad sign, as is the fact that you skipped school for her. I would be playing it a little be more aloof. The reason girls that age go for badboys and older men is because those guys are more confident and less needy. A girl rarely friendzones someone she is constantly fucking. From what I'm reading though, it sounds like this might have happened. If she says something along the lines of: "oh I was drunk, I didn't mean it" or "I don't want to ruin what we've got together" or "you're like a brother to me" you are in a bad spot my man. These things are bad bad signs. It means you are emasculated in her mind. It means she does not want to fuck you, and probably doesn't want to have a romantic relationship with you. And unless you want to be her little bitch, who she comes to to talk about the all the guys she's banging, you need to take action. by the way, all of this knowledge is from experience. How to get out of the FRIENDZONE

• First start being less predictable. If every conversation with her you immediately respond to what she is saying, hanging off of her every word, start leaving her hanging... Her: "oh I went to the mall yesterday with johnny...." You: "........ (ignore) ....... change subject." Little these like this. Start fucking with her mind a little bit. Let her know that you aren't gonna be the same supplicating guy you were. You're super mushy gushy BFF relationship changes now.

• Second Start distancing yourself from her. If she texts you everyday, start ignoring her texts. If you always text back immediately, wait a few hours. If you hang out every tuesday, break the plans and go do something else. Let her know that you are losing interest in a friendship without sex. Show her with actions what her life is going to be like without one of her good friends. Also VERY IMPORTANT POINT: Never let her on to what you are doing, NEVER tell her that this is all a game to get her back. She needs to believe that you are just no longer interested in being part of her life. And it doesnt need to be disengenuous. you really are fed up with the way things are going. The way you get those painfl blue balls when you guys cuddle. You are done with the relationsip in its current form, you just didnt know the right steps to take to empower you as a lover and as a man. These tactics will put the ball back in your court. You will have the power to decide where the relationship goes. Girls normally have the power to initiate sex in relationships but these steps will go along way to making her interested in you.

• Third Start incorporating other girls into your life. When you are with her, talk about the super fun amazing thing you did with Kathy the day before. Talk to other girls at school in front of her. Let her know that other girls are interested in you, and if she doesn't get her act together you will be off the market. This is your most powerful tactic. PLAY IT UP. DATE OTHER GIRLS. FUCK OTHER GIRLS IF POSSIBLE. This will build her interest in you. But once again she can't know that you are hanging out with/ hooking up with/ banging other chicks just to spite her. It just needs to seem like all the sudden a bunch a chicks were all over your nuts. And assuming you have any semblance of a sex drive you will not have to fake your interest in other girls. You are interested in other girls, you just have been fixated on this one honeydew drop on an orchid at sunrise overlooking a snowy mountain top. Show her that you are in demand. You are a piece of man meat that is desirable.

Final Point Trying to talk your way into this girl's pants will only turn her off. Do not continuously bring up dating her. You made your offer, and from what it sounds like, she said no. Don't push the issue. It will make you seem like a needy loser, which we already established is not a good thing. If you keep spending extended times with her, your true colors of being helplessly in love with this girl will show. You will cuddle, but get no action. You will confide in her, but you won't be sticking your cock in her. This process might take a week, it might take 3 months, but stick with it. These are proven to work. You might actually find that once she starts throwing herself at you, you won't even want her anymore. You will be too busy banging all her best friends.
