I've actually had a conversation with a cute girl in a bar who was asking me to buy her a drink. I explained that I don't buy girls drinks because they just take the drink and walk away. She passionately explained that not all girls were like that, and that if I classify all girls the same, I'd be missing out on the good girls. I retorted that good girls don't ask for drinks, and no girl deserves a drink only in exchange for a pretty face and idle chat. When she didn't have any come-back, I said, "I bet you're the type that just wants a free drink, aren't you?" and turned away to talk to my friends. I hate girls like that.

A while later, she came up to me to start talking to me again, and I noticed she had a fresh drink. "So which unlucky gentleman bought you this beverage, my dear?" She pointed to an AFC-looking dude with terrible posture at the bar and said, "That nice boy over there," and went back to smiling and sipping her drink out of the stirrer. I asked her why girls drank like that, because it's the most unattractive thing in the world (which is how I really feel). She laughed and said that I should take her number because I "wasn't like the other guys in the bar". I told her, "Why would I take your number? You've already shown yourself to be a bitch." I turned my back on her again. She was really getting on my nerves at this point.

About thirty seconds later, she tapped me on my shoulder and said, "Well if you won't take my number will you at least watch my drink while I go to the bathroom?" I said sure, and as soon as she was gone, I told the bartender that she had said her "Sprite and Vodka was just carbonated water, and could she get a beer instead?" He gave me a beer and I handed it to the AFC, telling him never to buy girls drinks again. He started to rant about how messed up it is but I cut him off and moved to a bar with better people.

Not one of my proudest moments, screwing over a total bitch, but I really can't stand people like that. I don't get laid often, and I probably could have converted this one, but dammit, I do have standards.

By far the best way to deal with this is the 5 question game:

You: Hmmm...ok...what question are we on? Her: This is 4.

You: Ok, sorry you lose.

If she says 20 or anything that is wrong, you say...

You: You've played this before haven't you!? Her: No, I haven't!!

The goal is to pass the shit test while still retaining positive energy in the interaction. I would say, I'm sorry I don't remember sleeping with you with a big smirk. If she's just trying to score free drinks, which many girls do, she will scoff and walk away. Who cares. If she was shit testing you then you passed. She might ask you what you mean, in which you say, free drinks from me are reserved for very special girls in club 'shujin'. If she asks how to join, say you can come to my place tonight to apply in person. Buy I must warn you the application process is very physically intense and I will be screening you for a variety of positions.

Here's a question for you: would you feel the same wringing sense of guilt and cheapness if a man came up and asked you to buy him a drink? Assume the man is straight, he looks perfectly capable of buying himself a drink, and he's just coming up to some random stranger looking for a hand-out.

Call her on it: "Oh I see, you're just out scamming free drinks tonight. You're probably not even poor, but you're out dumpster diving anyway? How many have you gotten so far?" (treat her like she's some naive girl who just figured out she can get guys to buy her drinks, but hasn't yet realized it's an obvious ruse to the kind of guy she'd want to date/sleep with, and could ruin her chances with him)

Her: five+

You: Whoa Nelly, time to cut you off and send you home, I bet you're so wasted you can't even walk to the cab/dance/pass a sobriety test. (DQ yourself by actually threatening to send her home - turn to the bartender and ask him to call a cab for her)

You: Hmm, not very good at it then, are you? Why should I be your first (innuendo) then? It probably wouldn't even be fun for me. (get her qualifying)

Get inside her head, expose & embarrass her, make her feel like she's doing something wrong, put her on the defensive. It's sort of the equivalent of girls calling guys on using PUA techniques.

If he says do you want to get a drink, go with her to the bar and lean against the bar looking the other way. In my experience she will buy the drinks. If she asks for a drink I will pretty much just ignore it.

honestly if a girl ever straight up ASKS me to get her a drink (which i don't really see much) i just say:

"nope"

(the key is tone, say it "matter-of-factly" [!])

she usually will ask why and then i will deliver something like you've seen in these other comments. I really like the "nope" to start though, it just gives off this vibe of "not only am i not buying you a drink, but the fact that you asked is strange, and i'm not even going to dignify it with an explanation."

There was this girl that hung out with our group from time to time. The last three times went like this:

1st. "You should be me a drink!" "I don't buy girls drinks" and changed my attention to something else.

2nd. "You owe me a drink!" "No I don't grin"

Just dont do it. Frankly no other advice is advisable. Different type of women are at clubs/bars. As men we want to avoid many of those women such as the ones out there for free drinks. You need to avoid them just like the women who go out so they can talk to some guy about their problems all night then go home and fuck the guy they were talking shit about all night.
