[FR] Prepare to wince: 5 days in a tent, with out-of-state target and the worst AMOG. On state, entitlement, and subcommunication.

TL;DR: Met an HB8 (let's call her TARGET) in Vegas. Stayed in touch by phone. TARGET visited my city. Then I went to visit her, and this is what happened...

The plan: We camp for 5 days in a tent, and attend back-to-back rock concerts.

Wednesday

Girl comes to pick me up at the airport with her female roommate. They drove 1.5 hours to come get me. I hop in the car, she's in the front seat, I start initiating kino from the backseat, by wrapping my arms around the seat, and stroking her upper arms, then eventually her neck and her waist.

Roommate makes us dinner. We eat. Roommate leaves for work. I cuddle next to TARGET, and we start making out on the couch. On to the bedroom. Clothes off. "Want to do it?" "Yes." Put on condom, can't penetrate. (I've had sex only once before in my life. Maybe it's because of all that masturbating training my dick to be weird. I was REALLY into this girl.) Well, this is disappointing.

Wake up in the middle of night. New condom on. Again, fail to penetrate. WOW.

Thursday

But this story isn't about her. It's about what happened next morning. Her male friend from college (let's call him AMOG) shows up. I was told AMOG had a girlfriend, AMOG has mostly female friends, and people often think he's gay, so he's harmless. I go downstairs to meet AMOG. I shake his hand. That instant, he looked at me funny -- the non-bro look.

He drives me around town, while TARGET is in class. I get to know him a bit, but feel rather uneasy. We go visit our tent. I say hi to our neighbors in the camp grounds; they offer me a beer, so I invite AMOG along. He stands there socializing, normal but not exceptionally social. We get back in the car. I open up, I tell him about the sexual problems I experienced, as an attempt to bond. There's this stand-off-ish-ness about him. I soon learn why.

We come back to the house to pick up TARGET. He starts telling TARGET the story of meeting our neighbors, and tries to DHV as if HE opened them. WTF, but I shrug it off. I make eye contact with MILFs in another car, as we're entering the campsite. They smile, they probably don't see Asians around here much. AMOG sees this and asks them "Want jello shots?" He jumps out the car to give them jello shots. DHV for AMOG; TARGET is all giggly.

AMOG sees our neighbors (he said they were so cool earlier), and gets anxious. He goes to give them jello-shots, and then comes back. Suddenly he badmouths them as douchebags, and says he doesn't want to hang out with them anymore. This really rubbed me the wrong way. I get the sense AMOG has game, but isn't truly at ease with people and is two-faced.

But AMOG keeps being entertaining, and it becomes clear TARGET is connecting with AMOG more than me, and is laughing at his jokes. This rubs me the wrong way, and I fall out of state even more, and this starts a very bad trend for the rest of the trip, where I'm side-lined while they talk and giggle non-stop.

TARGET keeps pushing me off, every time I ask for compliance. She keeps showing him more interest in conversation as well. It's upsetting me and my state is fucked. I buy Asian food for dinner, and I get some shit for it. They go to the portal potties, come back, and AMOG goes, "Hey Asian!" WTF. They decide to stay in the tent, because they're tired. I go out to make phone calls to a couple good friends, about my situation.

My state's so fucked, I can't stay in the tent with them. I go hang out with the neighbors. Finally, some respite from my situation.

5am, we drive home. I talk to her in bed, I shed a couple tears about being ignored and I point out my tears (partly because I watched a video on using vulnerability to connect), I ask her to be my girlfriend (she had wanted this before). Silly me, cuz she says: "I'll have to think about it." Later, she says, "I hesitate because you're more sensitive than me. And needy. And you mope a lot." ...Can somebody say "FAIL"?

Friday

I ask her to shower with me. She says maybe tomorrow, cuz her female roommate wouldn't like it.

We drive back to our tent. This time, I remind myself to: accept my shitty feelings, but act as if I'm in a good state. We're playing cards. Finally, I find a niche. I don't let myself get side-lined. I let AMOG DHV all he wants, and I give him approval for it. He talks about all these documentaries he's watched. I go, "You strike me as a very intuitive and smart guy." TARGET is more friendly to me now. He tries to throw in a couple more DHV stories about rich people he knows, and I offhandedly comment, "Yea exactly, my co-worker who's worth 2X that does the same thing." It made his whole story look foolish and trying-hard-to-impress. It just felt like he was qualifying his value, whereas I actually just had assumed value. Soon it becomes clear I'm actually high value, and he even starts kissing my ass a little bit.

AMOG says he wants to cheat on his girlfriend with another girl he's texting. Not so harmless.

We meet some of TARGET's friends. This pumps my state, as I make new friends. TARGET is holding my hand and shit. I'm happy.

AMOG convinces TARGET and me to smoke a bong with him. He's leading here, and is clearly spiking attraction.

But my state is shot as AMOG sweeps TARGET off her feet to take a photo with his phone. Fuck. I don't pull off anything as cool. At some point, AMOG says he wants to go back to the tent for beer. But I want to stay at the concert. AMOG says, "Bye." TARGET says, "Wait here, we'll be back." FML. I flip out on the AMOG. "Not to be a prick, but what you're doing is pretty fucking annoying." Anyways, I fold and walk with them back. TARGET tries to console me.

In the tent. I'm deleting girls from my phone, one by one, telling a story about each one to the TARGET. AMOG trying to sleep, he texts her, "Tell him to shut up." She shows me. I go "Sorry AMOG." So I keep talking to her, whispering.

Saturday

She doesn't want to shower with me. I tell her AMOG is a threat. AMOG makes breakfast.

We go back to the tent. This time, it's hot, and AMOG lays down outside. Me and TARGET inside. I make a 30-minute business phone call while fanning her with a paper bag: DHV, non-needy, also affectionate. We start making out hot and heavy. GOOD SHIT. I feel like she wants me.

AMOG comes back in the tent. TARGET and I continue talking. I start fingering her while AMOG is laying 3 feet away from us.

At this point, I learned to STOP trying so goddam hard to DHV, but instead ASSUME value, and this conveys more value than anything. I move around less, I talk less, but I'm higher value, and you can feel it.

TARGET is getting closer to me. Showing me more and more interest. I take leadership for the first time. I say we should all just go home and sleep, instead of roughing it in the tents. I drive us back. Everyone's quiet in the car.

I apologize to AMOG when we're alone, "Hey sorry for my bouts of jealousy."

Sunday

In bed, in the morning. Again, fail to penetrate. I finger her in bed. She gives up trying to cum.

Her parents stopped by to give me a gift, so I go out the house to greet them.

We have a super alpha guy in the group now (call him ALPHA), but ALPHA is friendly to me. And he pumps my state. I rock out with him in his truck, get to know him, and he takes a liking to me. Guys introduce themselves. Girls dance close to us. I'm having fun, and not clinging on to TARGET, but AMOG's state is fucked, and he looks like a tool. All he does is wait every 2 minutes, think of something to say to TARGET, and say it in her ear, and she laughs. I don't let it bother me too much.

AMOG makes his move, asks her out for next weekend. I'm sitting right there. She says, "That sounds fun, we'll see." TARGET and I leave to take a walk. And I go "You can go see him next weekend if you want." She goes, "I'm not going to." We go buy her a tummy ring that she lost, and it's an intimate moment as I try to put the piercing on.

We attend one more concert. More me jumping around with ALPHA having a good time. AMOG tries to ask TARGET to leave with him to go to a shop. She declines.

We walk back. It's mostly TARGET and AMOG talking. They want to go to portal potties, I go "You guys go ahead." They come back, I leave the tent, saying, "I'm gonna be out for a bit", and leave them in the tent. I go make phone calls, say goodbye to the friends I had made. I come back an hour later, my mind set on not caring anymore. Clearly, TARGET was worried where I had gone and asks me not to leave again. "Just for you, TARGET." I don't initiate any cuddling for once (and normally she eventually pushes me off). During the night, I felt her put her arms around me twice.

Monday

I say some sweet words to her. The cuddling was extra sweet this time, until I said "I don't deserve you." and she turns her back to me. Again, fail to penetrate. I eat her out. But she doesn't cum.

AMOG is leaving. I thank him for all the good he's done, and apologize for "being an insecure prick."

It's me, TARGET, and TARGET's roommate on the drive to the airport. I don't talk much, give them a lot of approval for what they talk about. We're all happy. She tells me to call. Kiss

Lessons Learned

What she wants most: I act like I'm entitled to her. Putting her on a pedestal is unattractive.
