If I see a girl texting for a while I ask "Are you writing a/your novel?" Its always got a smile and a laugh. If she keeps texting later ask if shes already at chapter 2.

I actually thought this was really lame but for some reason always goes over well.

I walk up and say "it's (slowly say my phone number like she's writing it down)". Then proceed to bust on how she better be taking me somewhere fancy, etc

Oh, these are fun.

I begin by taking my phone out and pressing a button to make it light up, I walk by and out loud say...

"Ok, pool party at your place, 8pm, and you want me to bring my leopard speedo while you provide the alcohol. I'm down"

By the time i'm midway through my statement, she will look up and take notice, I'll make eye contact and finish with a evil smirk. If she laughs I know I am in and if not I simply laugh and carry on.

Have had opened up women during both the day and night using this and it's worked for me majority of the time.

Someone here once used "Can I join in on the texting party?" I've used it myself and seems to works well.

If it someone that I have had an interaction with (just mabye a hello) I just tap their phone asuming it's a touch screen. If they get annoyed by this I usally bring up my own phone in front of them and pretend text so they get the opportunity to mess with me.

I had already been introduced to her earlier in the evening but she was spending a lot of time on her phone. I walked up to her, sat down next to her and said, "Are you going to spend the whole night on your phone or are you going to talk to us?" She was putty in my hands from that point on.

On an unrelated note, do you ever notice if you ask nobody will tell you who they are texting but if you ask who theyre on the phone with they'll say who it is.
