Meet people IRL, it's easier, and you don't seem needy (Like right now). If you are not meeting up in the short term to mid term, there is no point.

Just had an amazing 4 day sexcapade with a friend from middle school that I'd only seen once since (I'm 30). I just hit her up on Facebook since I was visiting the town and didn't know many people.

We ended up going out to a bunch of bars, and back to my place and hanging out the next several days. I didn't really game her at all, I did no techniques or anything, but I clearly displayed non-neediness and came across an a confident, attractive male due to my reference experiences and history with game.

Besides to brag, my point is that I didn't try to befriend her over Facebook, there was no conversation or smalltalk just an "I'm in town, what's up, lets grab a drink and catch up" it probably helps having an attractive facebook profile (by that I don't mean my looks, but having lots of cool friends/women interacting, pictures doing fun stuff, particularly with attractive women, etc)

Thanks for the advice guys. You've just made it clear to me from all your opinions. I'm not gonna bother with her. Sure she's cute, but there are cuter girls closer to me who I can game!

I'd say don't bother because there's a lot of buildup for the possibility of "failure", but I've done it and it wouldn't have worked without this:

1) Have a plan. Contact her a good while before planning a trip to her area. Don't make it a blatant "I'm travelling to see you!" thing...have a game plan in case she can't meet up or so you can entertain her in the case that she is eager to join. This is just good advice for any trip to see anyone really. It doesn't put them in an awkward position and you'll be entertained no matter what.

2) Start breaking the ice regarding relationship status, sexual mindset, and inside jokes to help carry your time together if she does meet up.

3) Keep things open, and by that I mean don't over-plan your trip or talk too much about your plans...it's your trip, not hers. Set the mood that she can join you if she wants, but start hinting at things she can "help" you with, like directions from the airport or places to see.

4) Do all of the above and see if you get IOI's. Does she offer a place to stay or to play tour guide? That's good. Does she say things like "If I'm not too busy then I want you to meet my best friend!" That's bad. etc etc

This worked for me as a 31 year old dude with a chick from high school. It helps that she lived in a cool city, that I truly am looking to relocate in her state, and that I honestly enjoy travelling alone. I really wasn't just going to hook up. It worked out that she was there.
