I'm an 18 year old guy who does comedy, and I was at a bar last night to do an open mic. I did my five minutes and hung out til the end of the show. Right as I was leaving, I was going around shaking peoples hands thanking people for coming. Then, I tap this attractive 20-ish year old girl on the shoulder to say the same, and get a harsh "don't you fucking touch me." I was caught off guard, and because I love confrontation I started asking her what her problem was. She was literally shouting about how my first three jokes were super offensive (I mentioned Paul Walker, made a transexual joke, and then said the girls red hat and shit matched the ashtrays.) Anyways, I kinda got sick of her shitty attitude, so I turned to start walking away and said to her, "I'm trying to be nice here, so I'm going to walk away if you don't chill out." All it took was that one sentence, and the girl instantly calmed her voice, grabbed my hand and started apologizing as I explained why she shouldn't be offended at the jokes. She moved in closer, and accidentally touched her breast to my hand. I held my ground, she backed away, but then moved her breast back towards me and while not letting go of my hand. Then she put her arm around me as we talked for a few minutes. All I could think is, that one sentence turned a girl from yelling at me, offended and angry at me touching her, to her not letting go of me, not breaking eye contact, and completely opening up. All I had to do was demonstrate I had no outcome independence and didn't give a shit and I was golden. I'm wierded out by how easy it was to be honest.
