Lady here, sorry if I am intruding in your subreddit. I don't mean to be rude but I have a related question that I would really like advice on.

I was wondering, sometimes I'm out getting groceries or whatever and I have a gentleman approach me. I know that he's interested in dating me or sleeping with me. However I have a boyfriend and I am not attracted to or interested in this gentleman even if I didn't have a boyfriend. However he's just asked me some harmless question like, "What are you making for dinner tonight?" or "Do you know where the pickles are?" I answer him because I want to be nice, but then he hangs around and talks to me. I feel obligated to talk to him some more and not be too rude, but I'm giving very little eye contact and giving short answers and inching away. However he is still trying to engage with me and talk to me.

So, how do I tell him, "Listen, you are wasting your time and mine. I'm not interested."? I feel like I can't just tell him, "I have a boyfriend." or "I'm not interested in dating you, thanks." because he hasn't actually asked me out yet. I know if I say something like that he will say, "I never asked you out." But I don't want to stand around the grocery store for 20 more minutes until he finally gets up the courage to ask me out, just so I can reject him and leave. So how should I handle this? What can I say that lets you know that I'm not interested, but isn't too rude? What would you like to hear so you know not to waste your time and move on?

If you were truly operating from an abundance mentality, this shouldn't matter. In fact, if you are operating from an abundance reality, you'll have multiple girlfriends of your own that you can incorporate into your verbal response.

The most important thing, is that abundance will allow you to be outcome independence, and that will allow you to plow through this, if it is a mere shit test. But if it is not the mirror test, and she is really just qualifying you due to her own fidelity, that you don't need to worry about it. You've got other options, and missing out on one girl this the end of the world.

Not condoning home wrecking or anything, gauge the situation through her reaction. And aim for a positive interaction more than anything

Everyone is going to tell you to just move on and if specifically for this case you are only going out and talking to girls to date them, then yeah, move on.

BUT, if you are new to this material, and you're Daygaming to build up some comfort and experience talking with women, then this is a perfect opportunity to push your personal boundaries! It is possible she is just nervous about being approached in public and blurted something out. You really don't know - and it's fun to keep talking! So yeah, accept that maybe you should just move on, but there's no danger in testing out a funny line on a stranger you'll never see again. Try following up with, "are you engaged?" When she says no, you can say for example "Hmm... Well I'm going to go in here and have a coffee. You should join me."

Shit, try anything man, what's the harm? No matter what you'll learn something new.
