I literally just read the first message and nothing more and could already tell you had no chance after that. Yes you were “over eager” in the first 10 seconds.

This is why I hate people that say that you can’t build attraction over text. Yea you should never be talking to these girls about boring ass shit and doing interview questions for multiple days straight. And yes, if a girl is showing interest, you should just ask her out ASAP. But so many guys fuck up the openers and first 5–10 messages and it completely destroys their chances of going on dates on the apps. Message game is super important. Especially initially. And especially to stand out over all the other guys she’s talking too. But luckily it’s something you can improve over time

Your opener was a logical question. Don't do that, women do not like being logical, especially on dating apps. She probably only responded because she was bored.

Secondly, when she said 'I've had people tell me before" you shouldn't have said that you were "so honored" that was simping and very naïve. You literally just indirectly conveyed that you don't match with attractive women (standouts) regularly. Attractive women want to know that their man dates or has the potential to date other attractive women.

Stop using emojis, they are feminine and the overwhelming majority of women don't like it when you use them.

You then proceeded to ask her another logical question (what did you do during bad weather).

She then asked you another logical question and you gave a logical answer and she stopped responding because you bored the crap out of her.

Not trying to be mean, but really wanting to hammer in the idea that women -- especially on dating apps -- need to have their emotions stimulated for them to get on a date with you. Just asking boring logical questions will literally get you ghosted. She doesn't care about what you did during a weather storm or what kind of care you drove, she asked those questions because she was bored. She's an 8 in LA which means she literally has thousands of other options, this was an L, but you now know the importance of being playful and fun and getting to scheduling a date.

I see couple of shots in the foot:

- don't convince her that she is too good for you, even as a joke it introduces pretty divisive vibe

- "are you a car girl?" it sounded pretty judgmental and confrontational, I guess you were trying to get some constructive neg, but as you are not connected with the girl at all yet, it kinda pushes her away even more

bringing the rainstorm up was good, because it was a mutual experience the allows you to connect, but you should not deepen that topic. You are not interested in rainstorms but interested in her. Same applies to your car. You can bring up such things as quick side note/joke but you should not deepen the conversation about it. Your goal has to be to get to know her and seed the idea of a meet up in some way. The rainstorm would have been perfect to bring up the idea of sitting in your favorite cafe on a rainy day

Never double text, ever. all these comments are bashing you but i think you did an alright job at setting a fun tone, just that 4th message seemed a bit needy to send without her response. i feel like there were some good vibes exchanged so far, you just gotta get her off hinge asap. you need to understand how far and how quickly your chat will be sent to the bottom of her messages list, there’s a lot of dudes on there. get her number or social media and do some more feeling out on there. what helps is just mentally pretend that you know her and set a more playful illogical vibe for your chats so she doesn’t feel like she’s being interviewed. it’s not over yet brother, if she still replies in the next few days get her number. if you need an excuse just tell her you hate dating apps and you delete it on and off 🤣
