Last week, the two of us saw a musician we both are big fans of. After the show we chatted with him outside for a little bit. He's a pretty friendly guy, and we were both pumped to meet him. On the ride home, my GF said how she has the biggest crush on him. I laughed it off, since we both know each other's celebrity crushes, and we were having a great night.

Here's where it gets interesting. She messaged him on FB saying he played a great show and how's she's disappointed his next show in the U.S. isn't until next year. Surprisingly he responded, and said that he can maybe get her guest passes. I'll admit that's pretty cool, but it didn't end there.

When she told me about this, she said "I'll be going to the show with my friends this time". The show will be out of state. Her Twitter has been flooded with stuff like "OMG can't wait to meet my dream man!" and "Why can't (musician) be my BF?" And she's talking about how she needs to lose 30 pounds by the show.

I'm not sure if I should just not give a shit about all this, and just chalk it up as her getting excited that a celebrity responded back to her (non flirtatious) on FB, or should I call her out on this B.S.

I'm doing my best to not let it get the best of me, but it's annoying to see my GF become infatuated with the chance of hanging with another guy, regardless of his status. How should I handle this one TRP?
