It's good up until "The people who belong in your life...". Then it's literally just wrong. If everyone followed this, nobody would "come into your life" because everyone would be waiting for other people to come into their lives, and nobody would be doing it. You have to make a point to actively try to connect with the people you're interested in if you want them in your life.

Couldn't disagree more. You wanna meet people you make that happen yourself. Friends/lovers don't just fall out of the sky. Working on yourself is only the first step. The second step is getting involved (joining clubs, being apart of groups, being on a team, etc) and demonstrating your value. The third step is showing interest in individuals, be it a platonic or romantic interest. Then, for example, invite them to things you do. You'll start getting invited back.

Did the PUA thing for a while. In several countries. Had enough success to feel satisfied, did some low key teaching and mentoring. I even got to know one or two of the big names personally.

As I grow older, this is what I am going for. Is it as valid without all the prior experiences? maybe not. But can say that this is an excellent and welcomed evolution in the path once enough steps are walked.

Always some bullshit instead of learning social skills. Get a better job/cooler hobbies/be more woke, etc. The core issue is a lack of social skills, it doesn't matter how much you snowboard.
