Was just writing about this.

Every time a girl could pick between my alpha ass and a beta they could push around, they chose the beta. In fact, many married them.

Women are complex and want different things at different times. They'll cheat with a guy like me, but they will happily date and abuse a pushover if they can.

Same, my friend acts like a beta male, very submissive but he still manages to get laid somehow. He is very indecisive and speaks very softly. He is good looking though so that might be why. Although when he does get laid it is never with top tier girls.

This one girl I know married a chode. When I first saw them as a couple I thought "she could do better than him". I found out recently that she wants to get a divorce. I guess she wants to go out on the town more but he would rather stay at home. I heard that she liked to get validation that she was hot from younger guys when she would go out.

Personality does A LOT for a man. The key is the ability to make them laugh. Looks don't make girls laugh. Most girls want to date someone who is their best friend. Ask yourself what you look for in a friend. Most people just want someone who is fun to talk to. If they are "friend worthy" and provided they have "game" this friendship can blossom to something more intimate.

On the other end of the spectrum their can be superficial girls (AND GUYS) who just want someone cute and think maybe they can find the person of their dreams who is perfect in every way. Maybe he/she thinks as good as he/she looks. These are normally short flings that leave emotional voids unfortunately. Or maybe they're just desperate/craving sex. Haha sex is fun, jealousy is not :p

What makes these guys “chodes” exactly? Women are complex creatures who are attracted to different things, sometimes they can’t even explain why they like what they like, often they just know what they want when they see it.

Sometimes women are insecure and want a “safe” beta guy. Sometimes the “beta chode” probably isn’t as beta as he seems, he’s probably a lowkey savage. Maybe there’s some trait to them that’s not immediately obvious that attracts girls.

A lot of it depends on the girl which is why people who think 'game' is some black magic 'catch all' where you say the right lines and act a certain way you can bang 100% of the girls you want are wrong.

I'm sure i've messed up banging certain girls because I was using 'game' and trying to be cocky and funny, but in hindsight these girls actually happened to be into more quiet, reserved, thoughtful, introverted guys and i'd have been better of 'being myself'! (but in fairness most girls go for alpha, extroverted confidence, so on the whole it makes sense to behave that way. 'Play for the majority' rule!)

As you say, the beta thing tends to work for older guys because they play beta-bux game when the girl is at a point in life where she'll willing to settle and enjoy an easy life but I guess even some hot young girls are probably jaded from being pumped and dumped by handsome dudes and they just want some guy who they know won't (can't!) cheat on her. If they 'click' (despite his lack of 'game') she'll go for it. Or they could just be someone for whom confidence simply isn't a turn on at all, and could be a turn off (despite 'game' basically being 'applied confidence')

Another thing worth mentioning is 'looks'. If a girl thinks a guy is super handsome, a lot of the time his 'game' (or lack of it) doesn't matter. I've seen this for a decade with my terribly boring German friend who has no game and gets laid more, and with hotter girls than the best pua's (he really is male mode tier, though. 6ft4, bright unusual greeny grey eyes, ripped, olive skinned, strong jaw, teenage hairline despite now being like 30 odd etc)

While it's possible to repel a woman with "beta behavior", it takes a lot to do so. It also becomes more effective later on in a relationship. Often there are bigger things in motion.

Over the years, I've noticed that individual behavior or "game" makes only a little difference. You wouldn't believe it by reading PUA forums though.

The blowhards on forums tout "focusing on what you can control" even though it may be about 2% of the overall impact. There are those who keep on claiming the glass is half full even though there's only 1/10 at the bottom (the trick is to "re-frame" the glass, it's all about attitude, dude!).

In short, looks and social connections + status are often more important than following the alpha male tips you saw on Youtube.

Because those guys are hot, good at creating tension, have good sex game and prioritize themselves over your friends.

They will say this stuff to maintain their innocence in front of a guy friend so when they need someone to complain to, he is safely there for them. They don’t want you to know the truth because they need security.
