You can't change your height, but you can certainly change your mindset. You have disqualified yourself at the outset. Work on improving your health and fitness. Maybe change your style. Own what you are. You can learn a lot there as well. Good luck.

This is a self limiting belief and you know it. You are shorter than average, yes. Also, so the hell what?? You are telling yourself "no" before even giving the girl a chance to reject you which she might not even do. I am of average height myself and have run into girls telling me "no" even though they were shorter than me because I was not the magical 6'1'' the truth is, it doesn't matter. I have seen plenty of short guys dating some seriously sexy and very tall women. It's all up to you and your game.

You need to work on your insecurities (inner game) and come to terms with your looks or do what you can to make yourself look better. Get a decent stylist for your hair or cut it off and rock the bald. Work on that and your successes will go up!

From now on, when you see a taller girl approach her. if she rejects you so be it. Go for what you like and stop telling yourself no. I prefer short girls myself, but i've climbed a few mountains and will climb more. Get on it.

I've got the same dynamic, I'm 5'6, buff, and starting to bald. It really blows. I'm actually a decent approacher but I only approach girls shorter than me. Sometimes when I'm out and I don't see any girls shorter than me I just think "damn, if only I was a little bit taller I would approach every girl in this bar" but it really blows to limit the amount of girls you hit on to be less than 50% of the population (and on a night out with heels it's 60-70)

At the end of the day man, you're not growing anytime soon so you gotta work on being the best version of yourseld and deal with the fact that you're short. I still see short guys getting play all the time and although I don't get laid all too much I get IOIs from a lot of girls, including girls taller than me. Go to the gym, dress well, approach and be the best version of yourself. Yes you're at a disadvantage but it's all you can do.

There are more women out there who don’t really care about your height (or, if they want taller than they are, are shorter than you anyway) than you could EVER meet/date/smash in your lifetime even if they had Sims-style glowing diamonds over their heads so you would know who they are at a glance. They are out there in the tens of millions.

What your height does is filter out the ones who are standing between you and the ones who you want. You don’t want to be with them if they don’t like, respect, and attract to you anyway.

You can’t do anything about your height but what you CAN DO is approach more. Yes, you are going to get rejected more but what you CAN DO is learn through practice and experience how to bounce back faster from those rejections than most people who invest everything in That One Girl, get rejected, and shut down for a night or whatever.

Basically, you got dealt a hand like everyone else and like everyone else, all you can do is play it the best you can.

Best thing you can do is have confidence in yourself. Yea girls taller than you are pretty much off the market but there are plenty of girls shorter than you too. Keep in really good shape and bust THAT ASS in college so you can get a good job. Also dress well and keep your mind sharp. An in shape guy who dresses nice, keeps well groomed, and who has a sharp intelligent mind is hot to women. Doubting yourself and being insecure is not.

This mentality is holding you back bro!! I'm 5'6 and have had plenty of success with women. If anything having that mentality in the first place is what's keeping you from breaking out of the funk. Girls are super adept at reading cues, body language and vibes. You having that insecurity about your height will come off and be picked up by girls who then lose whatever attraction they might have developed for you.

Ive had taller girls make comments about how they usually dont like short guys, but I disregard it completely and make it clear im not insecure about having a chick taller than me or care what others think about something out of my control. They end up respecting you for it and dont feel comfortable shaming you.

P.S: Start lifting and find something to be passionate about outside of women. That way girls become secondary and you're not dwelling on it so much.

21 and 5'6" here, it sucks. You've gotta accept that it's going to take more in order to look dominant and masculine, but hitting the gym is one of best things for us short guys. Gains apparently come a bit easier for us if we stick to it.

Remember to get clothes that fit you near perfectly (even though you've gotta do a bit mor searching).

Look. Here's the truth: Among women, there are two demographics:

Women who would be up for it with you.
Women who wouldn't be.

It's the same with you.

You'd be up for it with some women.
There are women you wouldn't be up for it with.

It's at the intersection between the women you like among the women who are interested in you, that you find women to date. By focusing on the women who wouldn't be up for it, and assuming they make up 100% of all women, you are fucking yourself over. You are giving in to irrationality and fear of inadequacy.

Another nasty truth is that this mindset you are expressing all over this post, has the unintentional side effect of leading to thoughts and actions that FUCK you and keep you out of the running.

Attraction works fucking quick: interactions start lightning quick and your body language and all manner of non-verbal communications, all play a role in whether they are interested. You are currently going into ALL social interactions at a massive handicap that you are creating.

It's not that ALL women wouldn't be interested, it's that you are turning away all possible women, including some that would otherwise be game.

And so long as you assume no one would be interested, you'll prove that thought right by interacting with such low regard/respect for yourself.
