I could write about this situation FOREVER. But for the sake of everyone's time, I will just be brief.

I have been having issues with my girlfriend for a while. As far as her personality goes, she's pretty nice, but she has some serious issues with her work and struggles being self sufficient. Long story short, she gets overwhelmed working a 9-5 job and then when she gets back from work she just becomes a vegetable and is super lazy. I have been doing a lot of her cooking, cleaning and doing some helpful things like driving her in to work (Yeah I know... It made me feel like a bitch errand boy)

I have been pretty unhappy about this behaviour. It's gone from dropping hints about saying I don't like it. To straight up saying that I won't be able to be in a relationship unless she pulls her weight more and isn't such a life wreck.

Tonight she called me out on it the first time, said my behaviour was manipulative. I just flat out said: "I was stating things a matter of fact about how your behaviour makes me feel. I don't want to manipulate you. We should break up now because this is no longer enjoyable for me".

She broke down in tears and ran off. I guess I am now single again :-) I appreciate this is a shitty way to break up, but you kind of have to hold frame right in a situation like this if someone calls you out? I have not been enjoying the relationship for a few months now anyway.

A little man support would feel good. Our relationship lasted 2 years.
