I don't know why this is surprising. Males and females both cheat, albeit for different reasons.
The problem is, women believe that cheating doesn't affect their relationship with their partner. It DOES. They are not looking purely for sex because when they have sex with new partners, they are bonding with them pretty intimately. You have oxytocin to thank for that.
