In a social situation, a person can use confidence in order to seduce women with personality traits such as wittiness, playfulness, sense of humor. All of these traits can help other people on the receiving end feel more comfortable while creating more positive tension in that environment. I think this is particularly why some women prefer going for broke bad boys rather than the stable, yet plain average guy. The latter would be better for her on paper, but they do not make them warm and fuzzy to think about.

People who are confidence are typically not emotionally unstable, draining to be around, and constantly putting down other people. Therefore, confidence may simply attractive due to the fact that it has significantly less downsides than insecurity.

Obviously, Most people may not understand on a conscious level under why they are attracted to the things that they are attracted to, they often just are. So, I don't expect anyone in the comments to rationalize what it is exactly that they find attractive in confidence people in the most in-depth and insightful way possible. However, I think most people can put "two and two together" about what they feel when they see certain qualities that they preserve as confidence in another person.
