Though it’s criminal activity and ridiculous to do its equality too, imo. People have been randomly punching all types of people for decades. Why should it be of a specific concern if it’s happening to women? Either we are going to do something about all people being punched randomly or we do nothing and stay just as quiet when it happens to women as we do when it happens to men.

It's called sucker punching. Random men sucker punch other men and women for fun. It's been going on for about 8 years in major cities and the media refuses to cover it because of the race of the perpetrators.

I work in Downtown Brooklyn and have yet to hear about or witness this, but depending on who is around, the perpetrator would get a beatdown by locals (that is if they aren't too pansy ass to run away or be on a bike). Yet they'd get released to do it again. Maybe to test how much they can get away with? I say, after even three minor offenses they should face mandatory jail time (even if it's a week). Shoplifting does not directly harm like this does.
