Id say if she starts engaging in conversation with him and you’re at a bar or club or anywhere there is a bathroom, don’t say anything just walk away and go to the bathroom. By the time you get back she will be like “oh where did you go?” If she is engaging with him it’s either she is not interested in you, or she is testing to see if she can get an emotional reaction out of you. If you walk away and she was testing you, than she should hypothetically embrace you when you get back.

This happened to me few times by a so called "friend". Keeps CB'ing me. If he has high success rate than I'd wave my white flag but he failed every time. He does it in a way that the girl gets turned off and goes away from both of us completely. So I called him out. He was drunk so he blurted" I get jealous when most girls approaches you and talks to you only so I have to intervene"

I stopped inviting him to events / night out.

So, there are two really different situations. When you are approaching a girl and a random dude tries to cut on. OR this where you are hanging out with a leach/scumbag/jealous clown. In that case it is pretty difficult when the person is nominally your friend and now your friend is competing with you for a girl or disrespecting you. It just looks awful as you look sort of like two desperate hungry losers ( not your fault, his fault).

The solution is simple - cut the dude out 100%. he is not a friend and never treat him as such. Back in the day I used to go out with this pick up group of guys who all sucked. I was one of the few who would open and hook sets and all the guys would like kamakize come in to "wing" me basically just coming in to hit on girls. I used to deal with it, but then stopped hanging with them.

But then one time I ran into some of those guys and a dude with them came in to "wing" me and immediately started disagreeing/undermining me. The solution was not treating him as a friend at all. I was just like "who are you, you're a loser go away" and shooed him off. And it worked fine.

So 1) cut the dude out
2) guys who do that you have to realize right away they are not a friend. When you are trying to be polite while they are undercutting you it is a pretty impossible situation. Like if you were in a fight not punching back. You have to realize even if the guy is smiling and "cool" to you - he is a snake and treat him as such ( though the main thing is you cut him out of your life IMMEDIATELY this is a just in case you see them again or you are out one night and a guy you are cool with does this to you - switch asap to tooling him, treat him as an enemy - act like you don't know him. "my buddy brought his younger cousin - he's weird"

In terms of your specific question thinking back on how handling it can raise your attraction: It is not stuff that I read in game books or what they say to do. But when I did number 2 - just immediately being a dick to the dude - it worked well. Key though was the vibe. It was not like I was competing with him and upset he was interrupting me for the girl ( that tends to kill it). I would sort of just act like they were annoying me personally - like wow this loser is a lame bother.

So this guy it could be like "what're you doing - that so lame" and then ignore him.

For example: I was at a language exhcange and talked to two guys - who were nice and exchanged numbers with me. Then I was talking to a girl and they came over and acted all nice to me and then started saying "where is your girl friend" I IMMEDIATELY switched and said "what? you read that on the internet, you're a loser go away" and forgot about them - and kept talking to the girl - we did a quick instadate and then had sex on our second official date.

The dude texted me at like 4:00 am someshit like "hey I can not get women I am so lonely help me" - fuck you bro desperate is one thing but desperate and a snake/backstabber is another. Basically a crab at the bottom of the barrel who wants to drag you down/steal from you.

Man this got long - I got into it lol. I HATE guys who do that - cockroaches.

Nothing, the woman should know and respect you enough to not do that.

You shouldn't have to stop your partner flirting with some dude flexing. Women know when a man is hitting on them, and she did that in front of you, damn.

Had this happen twice that spring to mind during Uni, same bar, same fella both nights. I knew him as we played football together when younger and he was known as a bit of a sleeze...

Both nights working my magic and he drunkenly tried to bulldoze in to the chat when it was 1-2-1 close flirting. Both occasions I just let him ramble a bit, turned back to the ladies and engaged in 1-2-1 chat with them again basically ignoring him. He soon moped off and I ended up going home with them both nights!

Helps he was a drunken mess and they weren't interested but 20 years later I still remember that fucker trying it on (both ladies were gorgeous, miles out of my league but I was a bit of a charmer so done alright with the ladies back then 😂).

I just stare directly at the guy, and once there is a lull in the conversation or she is giving half answers, I say assertively and stern, but nice, rrrright on the border of dick; “is there anything else WE can help you with before you get back to your friends?” Let him save face but make it clear - this isn’t going anywhere for you. Cut bait and move on.

If she flirts back even a tiny bit, drop her like a lead sack and tell her “I’ll be at the end of the bar when you need me”. Suggesting to both, have fun but you’re coming back to me when you’re done playing.

She goes home with him, work on your game and being a genuinely more interesting person who doesn’t get swiped by randos.

If she doesnt pay attention to you then move on. Your brain is showing signs of scarcity mindset. You arent born on earth to compete with other men when it comes to women/girls. Plenty of women out there and never be in such a position where you have to compete with other men to get a woman and even if you win such a situation then too it wouldnt be worth it and you will be unhappy with your victory anyway. Be valuable be awesome be yourself and let women do the job of competing for you.
