In essence, they're saying that it's only one cohort that is responsible for every crime on this earth.

Both the "only" men & "all" men mentalities are equally useless & inaccurate. Both are fallacies.

If it were only men committing the crimes, you would have never ever read a headline of a person of the opposite gender committing a crime before. The good news is that these are the types of fallacies that can be proven inaccurate effortlessly.

For the "all men" fallacy, you just have to find one man who DOESN'T do the thing. That's easy, because the vast majority of men DON'T do the thing.

For the "only men" fallacy, you judge have to find one woman who does the thing. If you read even the headlines from just the past 24 hours, there's a 100% chance the fallacy will be proven inaccurate.

I judge someone's critical thinking skills & respectability largely by their free, voluntary & proud resort to AON fallacies (AON meaning all or nothing).

Not all men but always a men build and maintain our world too. If we do the percentages, this is more describing of men rather than crime, which in some cases is used as an extreme mean in dangerous jobs which we deemed unlawful

This statement always made me angry bro. I saw a video of someone talking about SA and rape and I swear, 95% of the comments were basicaly, “teach your sons how to respect women,” “not all men but always a man,” and stuff like that. Like 3% of the comments included everyone as a whole, but most of them were blatant hate against men. Horrible society where a full gender is grouped together with monsters like that.

I saw this play out last year in New Zealand when (prior to our recent election) Co-Leader of the Green party Marama Davidson made a patently false statement:

"I am a prevention of violence minister and I know who it is who causes violence in the world and it is Cis White Men!"

She was not held accountable for what she said, nor has she apologized for what she said.
Her statement all but boils down to "Cis White Men are the cause of ALL violence in the world"
Yet i'm sure the official stats would show that Cis BLACK Men are the main contributors to violence..
But she doesn't like that because she's of the native population (Maori) and she couldn't blame Maori men for violence because that would be "Racist"

All her statement did was divide and paint a target on the back of anyone who fit the characteristics of her statement.. Like me a Cis White Man...
And when I called her out and pointed out that I as a Cis White Man HAVE NEVER hurt anyone.. I was told I was being "Fragile" or that I had to check my "Toxic Masculinity" or "If you are offended then you are obviously not as innocent as you claim to be" etc..

Its such a bullshit thing to generalize an entire class of people based on the actions of the ultimately small minority of that class..

As if that somehow invalidates the statement that indeed, vast majority of men are not murderers and rapists. They genuinely think it's a gotcha to the claim that not all men are like that.

don't trust any of the stats on sexual violence. laws have long been defined such that any sort of sexual violence, including rape, are definitionally only possible to be done by a man to a woman.

beyond the laws, in the lore that people have as to what constitutes a rape of a sexual violence, the same applies. just for instance, if a woman uses and abuses you with her sex to, say, get money from you, we don't classify that as any sort of sexual violence, but it is very likely rape, as it is manipulating you towards sexual ends and aims, that it is also done for money is besides the point.

but we don't even consider it such at all.

if a woman shows her pussy to you, that isn't considered a sexual violence. it is 'brave and stunning'. if a man does it, it is literally counted as a sexual violence. just consider the inundation of sexually explicit material primarily of women online. if you read the source material on what is counted as a sexual violence, that ought be included but it isn't. It's so fucking dumb to me. I understand it's an awareness thing but it also makes it a hypocrite statement because it undermines my own experiences. This isn't about, me but when you say "always a man" does it invalidate that I was SM as a kid by a woman? Cause it sure feels like it.

Bro what? The CDC data confirms that when men are victims, the perpetrator is still typically male. While women account for a larger share of “made to penetrate” cases, that’s not equivalent to saying most rapes or sexual assaults overall are committed by women—they’re not. And even for male victims, perpetrators are still majority male when you include all forms of sexual violence.

When combining all forms of sexual violence, including “made to penetrate,” men remain responsible for the vast majority (~90%) of sexual violence perpetration. So claiming women are primary perpetrators is only true in a small, specific category—not across the total picture of sexual violence. THAT’S what the CDC.

Also, dismissing the elevated risk women face on campuses by calling it “hilarious” ignores the broader body of research beyond just one study.

Only a man can rape due to the definition of the word rape. Therefore this statement holds true in that case. You can't apply that to anyone but a man. Rape is defined by "the none consensual penetration of a person's vagina, anus or mouth with a penis". That is a crime that can only be committed by a biological man, but not all men rape, so it is always a man. I am afraid that makes the statement correct, like it or not. The statement isn't sexist, it is factually correct.
