Hello all. So I'm in Indian, in india, and the way dating works here is... Depressing. Dating is something you only do during school and probably college too if you weren't in an engineering school, and right after college you are usually arranged marriaged off.

Now this would have been my life too, except that I'm a USA citizen! (Parents ex immigrants). I plan to move to the usa as soon as I graduate for various reasons.

Anyways, so how exactly does casual dating and hook up culture work? There are a lot of questions I have.

For one, is casual dating nothing more than a series of one night stands? Like u just hit up a bar and try to get lucky? At first I thought that was it, but it just seems so inefficient. Like surely the average guy can't get more than one lay a week doing one night stands, right?

Or is it something else. Is it a series of casual relationships? This one seems to be more likely given everything I've read.

Basically, it would be nice if someone on this sub gave me a casual dating guide!
