Two weeks ago I read a reddit thread discussing the importance of men cold approaching women they find attractive. Overall, the post contained beneficial advice and insights that any man, especially those inexperienced with cold approaching women, could benefit from, so I recommend you read it. With that being said, there was one claim made by the author that really grinded my gears: that high quality women cannot be found online (via dating apps and social media) or, presumably, in places like bars and nightclubs. 

Now, I normally wouldn’t devote an entire article responding to a flawed assertion made by an individual, but I’ve noticed that this is a popular thought amongst prominent members of the manosphere and self development communities, so I’ve decided to refute it because this line of thinking is too absurd and illogical to go uncontested. Furthermore, I don’t want men automatically disqualifying women who are genuinely high quality from being a viable relationship option simply because of their presence in spaces that are primarily infested with degenerates. 

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus

Social conditioning greatly influences human behavior. Now, I by no means believe that social constructivism has a more profound impact on predicting a human’s behavior than over two hundred thousand years of evolutionary hardwiring, but it unequivocally affects it. 

I mean, look no further than the feminization of men that has been rampant since the 1940s. Men, as a consequence of fathers being less present in the home after World War II, children being primarily taught by women in schools, brainwashing via various forms of media, and living in a society constantly espousing that masculinity is a construct – something that doesn’t exist in reality – behave like women. And, while this is a depressing and truly unfortunate reality, can you really blame them? With the presence of most positively masculine role models in society being on the decline, how are men supposed to know they’ve been brainwashed. How are men supposed to know that there is a way to behave like a man, especially when society regularly inundates them with information declaring otherwise? How are men supposed to know that most advice traditionally masculine role models espouse is beneficial and not toxic? 

So, if we accept that men have been conditioned to behave in a way that is not in accordance with their nature, similar logic can be applied to explain women’s behavior. 

The advent of hormonal birth control in the 1960s resulted in the sexual revolution, a period of time in which women had sex with more men than ever before due to the probability of them becoming pregnant decreasing substantially. This has contributed to the masculinization of women, and the normalization of behaviors and engagement in activities they were once shunned for. 

Moreover, it is understood that women are the more impressionable sex due to them innately being more visceral. Thus, high quality women – women who are physically attractive, yield indicators of fertility, and have a small number of sexual partners - are  influenced by the media, family, and friends to behave a certain way because it’s the “fun” thing to do. As such, it’s not unreasonable to assume that a high quality woman would engage in activities that most delusional clowns on the internet deem as being exclusively for low quality women. 

Girls just wanna have fun

Girls want two things in life: attention and fun. Okay, they actually desire an unreasonable amount more than that, but they absolutely love having fun, and attention is their currency. So, why would girls, more specifically, high quality women, avoid places where they can have fun? While much degeneracy occurs in bars, like snorting cocaine on the seat of a vomit infested toilet with 30 other girls desperately waiting in line to pee, they’re also incredibly fun. Night clubs where sweaty women grind their asses on the rock hark ding-dongs of random men who smell worse than a high school football team's locker room are simultaneously disgusting and fun as crap. 

If women’s currency is attention, then of course they're going to dress up in ways that elicit such, and they’re obviously going to pursue it in places where they can enjoy themselves, such as a nightclub, concert, or bar. 

Oh, and guess what? You can also absolutely find high quality women online. I sincerely know numerous virgin women in their 20s who use dating apps and social media applications. The idea that women, the more impressionable sex, are supposed to avoid using technologies that virtually all of their friends and everyone their age is using is nonsense. Remember: women love attention. The ostensibly wholesome and modest girl singing in your church choir wearing a prairie dress revealing less cleavage than a nun desires attention just as much as the chick walking around town in a promiscuous outfit on halloween night, they just express their desire for it differently. 

Women have degenerate friends 

A person's friends are a relatively accurate indicator of their values, beliefs, and how they may react in a given situation. There’s a common saying that a person is the summation of the five people they hang around, and there’s absolutely merit to it. That said, it must be acknowledged that we live in a society that promotes and normalizes behavior in women that was deemed taboo only 80 years ago. Thus, as a consequence of this profound influence being shoved down their throats, you can expect high quality women to not only have friends who regularly engage in “degenerate” activities, but to partake in them on occasion themselves. After all, women are human. They aren’t some literal saints who sin less than Mother Teresa. If their friends are having fun, they will want to join in on it –  especially as it occurs in real time. 

Well then, where does one find quality women? 

The only thing worse than listening to manosphere influencers and their audience informing others of where not to seek high quality women, is listening to them tell them where to find them. Invariably, these individuals claim that high quality women can be found in churches, coffee shops, gyms, bookstores, etc, and, when this happens, I genuinely wonder how someone can be so naive. 

Are they unaware that low quality women, the ones who get their backs blown out by the bartender in the bar’s bathroom 20 minutes after speaking to him, do, in fact, attend church regularly? Do they not realize that women who vape, have tattoos, swear profusely, and are masculine like to read books too? Oh, and of course, single mothers and women who are ran through definitely don’t exercise, so you won’t be finding any of them in gyms. 

Look, here’s the deal: high quality women can be found anywhere – you just have to be able to discern when one is in your presence, and this requires practical experience. You can’t just read a book or reddit thread discussing the various traits of high quality women and assume the woman you’re eyeing down is one. Just because a woman appears (and even behaves) as though she’s high quality during the initial interactions between you by no means suggests that is the case. With that said, you’ll pick up on patterns after encountering enough of them and be able to recognize when you are with one more quickly. 

While a legitimate argument could be made for high quality women being less likely to attend certain venues and engage in attention seeking behaviors, most of them aren’t founded in reality. It’s no longer the early 20th century. The high quality woman you desire isn’t out and about wearing a prairie dress when it’s as hot as the Nevada desert in the summer, and she’s not spending her weekends gardening or reading the bible with her small, like minded friend group discussing their favorite verse. She’s out in public, with her degenerate friends and acquaintances, hiding in plain sight.
