I just spent a couple weeks with female family members. Some alone time is a welcome relief.

I enjoy time with others and time alone. What I enjoy least is being trapped with someone who sucks my energy. I’d much rather be alone than that.

Also, unless you are forced into solitary confinement, why be alone? There are all sorts of ways to connect with others who have similar interests.

Meanwhile I love being alone and prefer it over being forced to socialise with people. I am going through this phase where by the time night arrives, I don’t feel any interest in doing anything. I just try to sleep and wait for it to end. It sucks at times but it’s much better than being with the wrong people. I love solitude and won’t sacrifice it for anything. Being alone isn’t really that bad. I go to the movies and shopping all by myself and it’s fun to not feel bothered by someone else’s presence and what they might be thinking. I am used to it. Won’t mind staying this way forever.

You don't NEED a romantic/sexual Relationship for that. But having a group of people you periodically interact with, that give you a social support network and that make your life better is an absolute necessity. Humans are social animals and need social interactions, but in the same way we also should have some alone time.

I found the only thing worse than being alone was being with a modern (feminist) woman. At this point in my life in happier having the freedom of choosing when in alone and when in not (prefer more time alone). You don't have to have a partner to not be alone and in fact you loose the ability to choose.

Live life how you want. It's your life to live mo one else.

But il give you one tip that you don't have to take like I said your life.

Don't go in to dating desperate and toss away your self worth. Just to "not be alone"

Cause it wil teach you there way way worse things then to be alone.

When you have somone you often long for the single life again and the freedom.

When your single you also long for haveing somone around you you can be really close and physical with.

But if you don't vet and take your time with picking a partner it can be a living nightmare. Far far worse then feeling alone. When you have a person that makes your whole environment turn against you. And make you feel alone.

Again just a tip. Your life to live. Build up or destroy as you please. But we all long to be happy and connected to some one thats a normal desire.

Just play the long game, man. The phenomenon of gals screaming on social media (and YouTubers like Taylor the Fiend calling attention to these gals) about how dating and the economy both suck is just beginning. Get some popcorn and watch the show.

Idk man maybe it’s me. I’ve been in a few relationships, currently in one. Very good and loyal but I sometimes do miss being single. You could say this is a grass is greener case, but there’s that personal freedom I totally miss when I was single. You could do anything at any time without having to consult your partner about it. Less drama and less headache, more money etc.

Again there’s a lot of good things about it too which is why I’m still in this relationship but it has its price. Seriously, enjoy being alone for now and try to grow. Travel, work out, make friends and go out, enjoy your money etc. eventually you’ll meet someone.
